If you are looking to score some sweet deals San Blas is not the place for you. Things were much cheaper in the Cusco markets. more

Other than a barking dog and lots of street noise, we loved this place. Free internet in the lobby too. more

OK I'm probably looking at this through rose-tinted spectacles, but I love Cusco and San Blas is where I lived for a few months (my mate stayed there for 2 years!) You're living amongst/with Peruvians, there's a great view across the city, it really is a lovely little neighbourhood. If you can, visit for the fiesta of los trembeladors, it's... more
