We had an amazing experience walking the Inca Trail (4D/3N) with Alpaca Expeditions. The trek its self was incredible, with amazing scenery, inca ruins and magical paths. And ofcourse arriving at Machu Picchu at the end of the trek was amazing. This was all made even more enjoyable by Alpaca Expeditions. We were a group of 10 with 2 guides... More

I cannot express fully how happy I am with this company. During the trek, Wilbur, our cook was amazing. The food was delicious. Ruben was an incredible and amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and a great person to be around. The porters did an amazing job of having everything ready for us. There were points where I struggled with... More

Did this trip in April 14 2013. Words can not describe the feeling......Alpaca is top notch all the way!!! From the first time I emailed them to them dropping us off at our hostel when the trek was over. They communicate very well with their clients, in fact we never felt like clients, we were all friends from the first... More

Was an absolutely amazing experience, the trek was stunning with unbeatable scenery! Unfortunately a guide was very pushy for tips at the end and although it was an extremely expensive tour to begin with, seemed unsatisfied with the amount given. He then asked us to present the tips in front of the whole staff and advise aloud of amounts for... More

Hi, I’m very sorry to hear of how you feel your guide managed the tips, this type of practice is not something we would expect from our guides and I promise you we will take measures to ensure that it does not happen again. I can assure you that we do not take these things lightly. All of our guides... More

I did the 2D/1N Inca Trail with them. Saul was a great guide, and the food was excellent! They take care of their porters and the employees seemed happy, which is important when choosing between all of the available groups and guides in Cusco. The administrative staff was very prompt with any questions or requests I had via e-mail. Reserved... More

I did the 4D/3N Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu in July 2014. Having travelled through South America for several months this was my final stop on the continent. This experience topped them all by a considerable margin. I can try and use superlatives to explain how magnificent this expedition is but they won't be sufficient. Doing the trip with... More

Travelling as a group of four ladies, we had booked the 2 day/1 night Sacred Valley trek + Maccu Picchu tour - including Wyna Picchu climb (as an easier option to the Inca trail which is closed in Feb). The team at Alpaca Expeditions - the 'Green Machines' were professional, informative and friendly from the get go. We met our... More

I can't speak highly enough. We did the 4D/3N Inca Trail and it was amazing. Efra was a walking encyclopaedia and a fantastic guide! Everything was so well organised, the food was plentiful and incredibly tasty with all dietary needs catered for. The team have it all down pat, and my only regret was it went far too quickly. The... Our Inca Trail trek with Alpaca Expeditions was FANTASTIC! Our trip was very well organized from beginning to end. Our guides (Elio & Isaia) were very professional, friendly and highly knowledgeable about Inca history and current Quechua cultures. The food prepared by the staff during the trek was amazing: every single meal was delicious! We fully enjoyed the beautiful landscape... More
