Our guide Henry is an excellent man, bringing us an unforgettable experience along the trip.

My girlfriend and I did the Salkantay Trek through alpaca expeditions, our guide was named Henry. First off, Henry went above and beyond anything I could have imagined for a guide. He was very knowledgeable, as well as friendly and hilarious. He was perfect. This company has set the bar high. The porters and treatment of animals was great. The... More

My husband and I did the Lares Trek! It was an amazing experience, the Alpaca team truly made this experience wonderful. Our guide was Wilson, he is an excellent guide who not only brought us together as a team, but also was funny, helpful and explained to us the culture and history through our trek. We had 6 porters including... More

We did a day tour to the sacred valley. We are a bit amazed by the singularity of amazing reviews. Pros: the sacred valley itself, transportation Cons: - didnt discuss itinerary with us even after asking. - brought us to places to shop - and at the end of the day after everything was over, explained how to bargain. I have done an Inca Trail starting on the 13 July. Honestly, at first I didn't think I would make it and I might be left behind by the group. However, our guides are super super nice especially Ángel. On the second day after surviving two passes, the rain started to pour down and I was on snail speed because... More

Truly good company, super professional, locally anchored (for real, not for marketing purposes) with great knowledge of various types of local places and very very good guides. In particular, Saul, with whom we did the 1-day trek to MP. Totally dedicated, nice, local guy with a passion for his region and the Inca (and Peruvian) culture this region represents. Used... More

We recently completed the one day trek and several day tours and were very pleased with all of our interactions with Alpaca Expeditions. Everything from the initial contact that I had with Raul, to the numerous emails back and forth with either Raul or other personnel that were answered promptly and completely to the actual trek and tours with our... If you want the best tour or expedition experience Alpaca is the way to go. Unbelievable individual customer service, and the food out of this world. The chefs need to write a cookbook, we had mango cheesecake, incredible pies, unbelievalbe main dishes from alpaca to cheviche. all cooked in a camping kitchen. Every morning you are welcomed with coca tea,... More

Brilliant trek which is 60km in total. You start the trek walking up a mountain until you reach a high altitude. The sights along the way are beautiful. All your things are carried by horse/workers and a cook will cook food on the tour. Its so beautiful and green with streams and a mountain full of snow in the distance.... More
