We elected to do the Salcantay trek as an alternative to the Inca trail as we understood it to be less busy, but still followed the Camino De Inca Red on the last day of trekking - we were not disappointed - the scenery on the trek across the Salkantay pass was spectacular culminating in Machu Picchu. Our guide Bruno... More

Super pleased with their services, more than words can say. We all had an amazing time during our 4 days Inka Trail trek. Everyone did an excellent job, always willing to help and accommodate us. The food was amazing!!! We had a full course meal every day for lunch and dinner from appetizers, soups, main course, dessert and drinks. You... More

Wayki is the way to go if you are thinking about doing the Inca trail. Our guide Alfredo was fantastic - knowledgable, funny, and patient. The food was gourmet, better than any restaurant! The trek was challenging but the positive energy of the porters and Alfredo kept us going. By the end it felt like one big family. Definitely do... More

My brother and I booked our Peru trip through a large tour company, but were pleasantly surprised to learn that our actual trek was being handled by a Peruvian-owned company. Wayki Trek and our guide "Willy Jones" were awesome! Willy did a great job of allowing the more advanced hikers to go ahead at their own pace while he stayed... More

Did the 5 day Salkantay trek with Wayki and would highly recommend. Our guide (Edwin) and our cooks were excellent. The standard of food blew us away every night. As well as keeping us safe and sharing his knowledge, Edwin also came up with an option for some of the group to do the hot springs at one of the... More

Me and my group of friends’ trip to Peru centered around our 4 day trek on the Camino Inka to Machu Picchu so finding the perfect tour guide and organization was really important. We were lucky to get Wayki. They were fantastic. First of all, the night before the hike we did this activity called the Wayki Experience. At the... More

Wayki did a phenomenal job with the Salkantay trek. Everyone involved in the trek worked incredibly hard to make sure we had a great time. The food was excellent and they went out of their way to cater to the dietary restrictions of our group without hurting the quality. Our guide (Alejandro or "Alex' to his friends) was encouraging, knowledgeable,... More

We completed the 5-Day Salkantay trek with 6 friends. Our Wayki guide, Edgar, was amazing. He has all the characteristics a talented guide should have: knowledgable, patient, kind, and fun. He had more than 10 years of experience and was a walking encyclopedia. But what made Edgar go above and beyond is how much love and respect he had for... More

Wayki Wayki! A group of 30 of us descended upon Cusco ready to do the Salkantay Trek. This was a charity organised trip (organised by The Salvation Army / Different Travel) in conjunction with Wayki Travel on the Peru end. The group of guides were so good, they came with us when we travelled to a local primary school (in... More
