My girlfriend and another friend did the Lares Trek in early May. Wayki Tours was an excellent tour company and I highly recommend them to others. The guide, Wily Jones, was very knowledgeable, energetic, and an excellent Peruvian ambassador to our group. I can't imagine a more genuine and enthusiastic person that truly loves showing off this remarkable region. The... More

I had the pleasure of doing the Salkantay trek with Wayki last week. The trek itself was fabulous and Wayki far exceeded my expectations as a tour group. Our guide (Franklin) was brilliant, the food was amazing and I didn't realise that camping could be so comfortable! Unfortunately I sprained my ankle on the second day but the help from... More

I did the best of researches while trying to find the best tour operator that fit our needs. After much deliberation, we chose Wayki Trek. Not until I was in the Inca Trail itself, I came to the realization on why they advertise their company as "under indigenous management." There are dozens of companies in Peru but every time I... I just returned from the the 4-day Classic Inca Trail trek with Wayki. I selected Wayki primarily based on two reasons: 1) They are an indigenous company who treat their porters well and try to reinvest in the Quechua community. 2) They offer the smallest groups (max of 8 people). The treatment of porters is an important issue and based... More

We thought this was the perfect way to see Machu Picchu if you don't have a ton of time or a burning desire to camp for four nights. The 10km hike was hard but amazing and coming to Machu Picchu at the end of the day after the crowds had left was perfect! Ruben was an excellent guide and everything... More

My boyfriend and I did the 4 day inca trail with Wayki Trek and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. All of the staff in Wayki trek were so helpful and friendly. Our guide was Fredy Cusi who was amazing- he was so enthusiastic, supportive and incredibly knowledgeable. We were all very well looked after, the... More

We did a lot of research on tour companies for the 4 day Inca Trail trek and had only emailed 2 or 3. Wayki was the first to get back to us (good sign #1) and I'm so glad they were! They were very responsive throughout the months preceding our trek and were very forthcoming with any information we needed.... More

wayki trek were fantastic from start to finish with regard the 4 day Classic in a trail trek I undertook. The pre-trek organisation was very professional. On the trek the food was outstanding and the porters were very hard working, polite, respectful and generally excellent all around. The chef is a genius, every meal we ate we ate well in... More

Never met such hard working group of individuals as the porters. Our Tour guide Bryayn, who was awesome, shared his knowledge with great enthusiasm. Food provided was marvelous. This was our first time doing a guided trek and I must say we got a lot more out of it.
