We had a great experience with Wayki Trek except for the Machu Picchu portion of our trip. They messed up the timing my boyfriend and I needed to be able to climb Huayna Picchu (the huge mountain in the background of the iconic shot of Machu Picchu) and still be able to get a tour of the ruins. So, we... More

We completed our Inca Trail in March and so far it has been the hightlight of my 4 month South American Trip! Wayki Trek are an indigenous owned company with all profits staying in Peru (a huge difference between it and other companies). If you have time to go to the Porters Village I would really recommend it, it gave... More

We had a wonderful time. Wayki trek has excellent service from the very first briefing to the guide in the tour. The food was amazing! The entire team was friendly and encouraging, they definitely made the experience better.

A friend of mine recommended Wayki trek for the 4d/3n Inca trail and after reading about the company online it seemed a perfect fit for us. I liked the way it was owned by a Peruvian, it had small groups and that they offered a one day free tour to the porters village to see how they lived. We booked... More

Owned by indigenous Quecha people & make a point of showing us their culture & traditions. Profits stay in Peru & help preserve their history & environment. They picked us up from our hostel in Cuzco and drove through several towns before dropping us off at the start of the Inca trail. Our guide Freddie was great with pacing &... More

We recently hiked the Inca Trail with Wayki Trek and it was amazing. Our guide, Reuben Quispe Quispe, was amazing. He had a tremendous amount of knowledge and patience. He helped to keep us together which created a very cohesive group. The company is Peruvian owned which is incredibly important because it means the money goes right back to Peru.... More

A couple of friends and I booked the 4 days Northern Light trek and we enjoyed it from start to end. Our guide, Svavar was full of good advice and ready to stay awake late so we could see the northern lights. We had lots a great pictures and great memories

We were so pleased that we chose to book our Inca trail trek (3 nights) with Wayki. We had done a fair bit of research as one of things that was important to us was that we chose a company that looked after the porters. We had a private group (6 of us) and we were lucky enough to also... More

Choosing Wayki for my Inka trail trek was a wonderful choice! Everything they did was right on point. The communication before I arrived and all the transpired while I was there. I was traveling solo and ended up trekking with a great group of people, there were 6 of us in total. Our guide Edgar was very knowledgeable and quite... More

We hiked the Inca trail in October with Wayki Trek. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful and the hike itself was fantastic even though we had light rain and clouds every day...be sure to bring rain gear!! The tents and sleeping bags that Wayki Trek provided were super clean, I would recommend bringing a small pillow if you... More
