I rarely write reviews like this but Etnikas is an exception. If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere, as this is a purely rustic Cusco location. No frills. But the care, attention, knowledge and professionalism of the staff was great. Paco and Jacky were super and attended to us as guests taking on a challenging experience. My sessions got... More

My ayahuasca retreat at Etnikas was life transforming and I could not recommend it more highly. The Etnikas team were both loving and compassionate and were of immense help every step of the way, a view shared by all six members of our group.

First, let me say that if you decided to try Ayahuasca for the first time, the "retreat" part was meant for your soul, so be sure to enjoy the nature around the facility and don't expect a 5-star hotel; since that will most likely lead to disappointment. Also, the ayahuasca ceremony itself is a very personal spiritual journey; IT IS... More

I visited Etnikas in October 2014. I stayed for the 3 day retreat and had an incredible experience. I found every aspect of the retreat to be so well planned and delivered with such love and care. The shamans were amazing and have had a real impact on my life. Betty our facilitator was brilliant, she made me feel so... More

Angel and all the staff, nurses & shamans made the experience unforgettable & so easy & natural. I Couldn't imagine doing ayahuasca anywhere else. The location is so peaceful and serene Making you feel at one with nature. Not ONE negative comment on this site was relevant to my expericne or the 6 people with me. Best time of my... More

Booking an Ayahuasca retreat from my home country Australia was confronting. I wanted somewhere where I could feel safe and Etnika's provided a great experience. I felt safe and the service was very professional. Met a lot of like minded travellers, now friends for life because we have been through something magnificent together. As long as you are mentally prepared... More

To start off, this week was great. The level of care for our safety and health before, during and after was fantastic. The facility was clean and reasonably comfortably considering that you are in a cabin in the mountains. The minimal food we received was tasty and super fresh. From start to finish our group, 6 people from 3 separate... More

I dit a lot of Ayahuasca in my live, and the sjamaan and the Ayahuasca itself was amazing. Some people of the staff and the overal stay there is totally not worth wat you pay for. They make up there own set of rules that has nothing to do with Ayahuasca. The ceremony room is way to smal, and only... More

Chose etnikas as an option to do ayahuasca outside of the jungle in peru. Upon arriving to the facility the water was not working, which means the toilets would not flush. The first ayahuasca session I had was done in a house with no running water. Buckets were used to flush the toilet. This turned into a giant mess during... More

I will not go on about the ayahuasca experience itself as many other reviewers have already covered that what i will talk about is how my impression of the staf was soured at the end of my stay at etnikas. First off i paid 875usd for a 5 day retreat and only stayed 3 days. Was offered no refund and... More
