I'm not going to write about taking ayahuasca as it is different for everyone but it is hard to imagine a more appropriate place to have the experience. I did the 5 day retreat and faced some harsh realities about my interaction with the rest of the world. This is exactly what I needed to learn. The staff are very... More

This was such a life changing experience for me!!!!. I traveled there as a single female for Ayauhasca for 2 ceremonies. The whole time I was there I felt very safe. I felt like everyone there had heart felt love for helping others be the best they can be. The shaman Lucio was very knowledgeable and very wise at his... More

I did a 3 ceremony experience and was challenged physically, emotionally, and spiritually to complete the task. It was a life-changing experience and I felt safe the entire time in the hands of the shamans and coordinating staff. Pacco and Bexty did an especially superb job. An Ayahuasca experience is a personal journey, but one that requires an supportive environment.... More

I am very happy with my decision to work with Etnikas. The preparation for my journey was thorough and cleared the way for a successful experience. The folks at Etnikas were very kind and helpful. In particular, Betsy spoke very eloquently about the importance and value of Ayahuasca in today's world. I appreciated the heartfelt discussion we had. My assistant,... More

What an experience! What Santosoul wrote below me I could just say ditto - literally. A life changing journey that I will never forget. It is a bare bones kind of place as far as lodging and food but that is not why I went - I went for healing … I prepared for this trip and did my research.... More

The establishment it self is kind of average for the price you pay. Having said that. The service provided by the staff (especially parko the coordinator) is simply extraordinary! The ceremony and ayahuasca experience themselves where what you really pay for, which were also fantastic and life changing! The whole "noble silence" thing wasn't inforced on myself and the other... Etnika's is a place I will never forget and hope to one day return. There's a reason this place gets top reviews. Our experience was overall an excellent one; full of challenges and surprises and camaraderie. The first ceremony didn't affect me (or the group) the way we had anticipated. I understand that this happens. We expressed our concerns to... More

I will not talk about the ayahuasca experience itself because its very personal, but I will talk about the place. Its basically a pretty big house in the mountains just outside Cuzco, wich is very left behind, they dont take care of the place and for the amount of money you pay they could have kept the house a bit... I truly had an amazing experience this past week at Etnikas. Paco, our coordinator, was beyond a blessing. He helped me beyond what I would have thought would've been possible. I truly healed over my retreat and can't thank Etnikas enough. I highly recommend this to anyone. The small amount of food you receive is very fresh and delicious. You... More
