I did the 4D/3N Inca Trail trek at the end of October and absolutely loved it. The guide, Erik Bayona, and porters did an amazing job the whole way. Erik was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the 4 days. The porters are pretty much superheroes. They do a phenomenal job. The most surprising thing was the food. I wish I... More

We used SAS in part because they were the only company who responded to email, although, sporadically. We were very tight for time as we booked not long before our tour. Once in Cusco they were great. Pick up was on time and tickets nicely organized. Great train and met at station. Unfortunately the hostal was crappy. Disinterested staff. Not... More

We just finished our 4D/4N trek with over night in Aguas Calientes. We had Hilbert & Andi as our guides. We feel like the guides were good. Now here is what was wrong with the company SAS 1. To many people(17) in our group 2. One SMALL coffee steeper for 17 people, that made max 2 cups each time 3.... More

I booked with SAS from recommendations from friends who did the 4d/3n Inka trail several years ago. We did the combo short 3d/2n Inka trail. Reviews for the longer treks seem much better than our experience. I would definitely check out other agencies. Nice web-site but not as responsive after you have paid in full. Guide was good but sometimes... More

I recently had the pleasure of hiking the inca trail to Machu picchu. SAS travel was highly recommended to me by friends who did this same trek with them a few years ago. The experience they had was repeated 4 years later. It was just amazing. Our guide Erik Bayona was beyond fantastic. He was friendly and personable and made... More

Our 4D/3N Inca Trail trek was at the end of October. We felt so lucky to have experienced it and to have been so well taken care of. Our guide, Erik Bayona Flores, exceeded our expectations many times over, teaching us the history of the Inca people, making us laugh (almost constantly!) and even leading us in a very personal... We did the Inca Trail in mid-October. The guides, Hilbert and Alberto, were fantastic, despite some difficulties for our group. Firstly, two of our group had to leave after the first day due to difficulties with altitude, and Alberto accompanied them, leaving Hilbert to take our group alone. Later on, a lot of us got pretty sick, including me, and... More

We did the Camino Inka (4D-3N) with them and they took us by the hand from start to finish. Our guide Eder Zevallos and apprenti-guide Javier were very helpful, responsible, funny and easy going. The staff that accompanied us for the trip was very responsible and professional. They prepared very delicious and varied food. The booking through their website was... More

We originally chose to do the 4 day Inca trek with SAS because we were told that the company treats their porters better than any other company. As it turns out, they also treat their clients phenomenally well! We never could have imagined that we would be so well taken care of. The food was beyond impressive; we were served... More

I recently went for a 4 week trip to Peru for my honeymoon and as part of this we had booked SAS for our Inca Trail experience! Everything was pretty well organised as we had pre-booked from the UK and after a trip to the office to confirm everything, we were happy and ready to go! Fredy and Hernan were... More
