We took a private all-day rafting trip on the Urubamba. It was fantastic. The equipment was high quality, the company is VERY safety conscious, and our guides Willy and Noel were absolute delights. Willy was in the raft with us and was funny, informative and felt like an old friend. Highly recommended.

We trekked Salkantay with our excellent guide Noel. He was really knowledgeable and really professional. The porters went above and beyond the call of duty for us helping an injured group member complete the trek. At Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu, Noel used his experience to ensure we could use our time there effectively. I will definitely be using this... More

The hike to Huchuy Qosqo and the hospitality for the village stay was incredible. Mario Tribune is a great guide and a patient person. And then Machu Picchu train and overall experience was fantastic. This company knows how to take care of details ... and that too ultra last minute ... I was finalizing the details as I was boarding... More

We booked our Peru itinerary with Apumayo and couldn't be more pleased. Naturally the goal was to see Machu Picchu and learn a bit about the area, the history and it's people. We are three couples and were very pleased to have been assigned to William. We have all been on tours before and had tour guides of varying quality.... More

My family of 4, including two kids aged 8 and 11, recently hired Apumayo to do the Inca Trail Express - a one-day hike into Machu Picchu, including a visit to Machu Picchu on the following day. We had an excellent experience overall. Our guide, Elias, was excellent, extremely experienced and professional, and very insightful in how he targeted the... More

If it wasn't for our personal guide (Jose) and the porters (all of which are freelance and contracted out by Apumayo) I would not recommend this company for the Inca trail. For the following reasons: 1. We reserved our permits for the Inca trail and Huayna Picchu in February for our trip in August, only to be told the night... More

We were 8 family members aging 10 to 63 and did the 4 days/3 night Inca trail to Machu Picchu with Apumayo. In summary: it exceeded our expectations, on all levels. Of course the trail itself, the views, the incan sites on the way, the challenge, the company, all are incredible. However, Apumayo also did its part to make this... More

While on a recent rip to Peru, my wife and I went rafting on 4 rivers on trips handled by Apumayo. These guys are as good as it gets. True professionals in every sense of the word. Everyone of the guides involved was delightful, knowledgeable, and highly trained. If you looking for the best, this company is it. I also... More

Apumayo is the perfect choice if you're looking to experience all that Peru has to offer! Having traveled extensively around the world, I would not hesitate to recommend Apumayo as they curated one of the best tours I have ever taken. The best things about the company are that they offer customized tours, provide a seamless experience for the tourist,... More

In April I spent 9 days travelling through Peru with a tour organised by Apumayo and I can only endorse the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor - they were incredible. Right from the first contact they were professional and helpful with great communication. I am a wheelchair bound lady travelling alone in Sth America and they made my trip to Peru... More
