I travelled to Machu Picchu with Llama Path Tours, in the company of my sister, daughter and her friend. We did the 4day/3night Lares trek.. Starting with the girl in the office, who was so pleasant and friendly, to all of the team, I found them efficient, kind and helpful. The altitude at the highest point on this trek is... More

I went on the 4 day trek in April this year, it has always been an ambition of mine to see Machu piccu. Our orientation was excellent, we received sound advice and had a realistic expectation set of the trek and its challenges. After an early start we set off on the trek, we had two guides, Marco and Ronnie.... More

(I was one of the loud, shouting, singers that Liz658215 complained about on her bus ride home. Too bad that we annoyed you during the ride back, but we had SO MUCH FUN on that bus. It was probably one of the highlights of our entire trip. In fact, there were only about 4 people on the whole bus who... More

We took the short track with LlamaPath. The track itself was great. We loved our guide Edwin y Marcelino, 5 out of 5 to you my friend! But... remember that Llama path is the most expensive Inca Trail agency in cuzco. If you are the most expensive place you have to be the best, Llama path was not! Really crappy... More

MMM Anyone can tell your post is (very) suspicious... Edwin never goes on the shorter 2 day Inca Trail much less Marcelino and Edwin together ! Is anyone paying you to post such things? are you writing from the competitor? Llama Path never used Viajeros Hostel. Best wishes anyway. More

I just returned from the 4 day, 3 night Lares hike with Llamapath. I chose them because I had read good reviews from others, and they were willing and able to accommodate my vegan diet on the trip. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The chef Amazin created the most wonderful, multi-course meals for me at breakfast, lunch... More

We did the 2 day hike to MP. Our guide, Nelinde, was fantastic. She was informative, encouraging and let us hike at our pace with pleanty of breaks. The altitude makes the hike challenging. The only reason I am not rating 5 stars is the bus ride back. There was a group on the bus that finished a 4 day... More

Not a hiker by any means, the Inca Trail proved extremely challenging physically and mentally. I sprained my ankle two days before the hike's start and was very nervous about being able to complete the trail. Compounded by my ankle was the altitude sickness, which is very difficult to deal with no matter your physical condition: shortness of breath, pounding... More

My husband and I had the misfortune of being part of the Inca Trail 4 day hike organized by Llama Path. Everyone in our group got food poisoning. It started off with one person falling ill on the second day, 5 falling ill the next day and the remaining over the next two days. The worse thing other than people... More

Hi, IMO first of all reviews should Not depend on the compensation you asked us to offer you and later you (unfortunately) thought it was a pittance. - Also No evidence of doctors prescription was showed to us, why? - We are of course concerned with the situation, its very sad the bug (whatever it was) affected one by one... We booked with Llama Path because of recommendations from friends who booked their 4D Inca Trail. overall, we had a fantastic time and felt Llama Path provided us with excellent services. Our guides, Edwin and Marcelino were both fun, accommodating, knowledgeable and very patient. The food was always delicious and the welcome drinks and "happy hour" was truly the best... More

Our group of 10 researched the various guide services for a May 2012 4D/3N Inca Trail trek and chose Llamapath based upon strong recommendations received. We were not disappointed and found the trek was well organized, well managed and tremendous fun. The guides were top notch, spoke good English, and were very informative about the culture and the region. The... More
