Rented a minivan Hyundai H1 from this company and we dealt over the e-mail with Orlando and David. We agreed on the price and they insisted to come and drop the car at our hostel. Time we requested: 07:15 - 07:30 in the morning (we were suppose to drive from Cuzco to Puno in the same day). We also specified... More

We booked a tour with one of the many agencies in Cusco to Machu Picchu (MP) because it was a cheaper and faster option since we did not have a lot of time nor money. We paid 125 dollars for the trip, which includes 1 night in Aguas Calientes, entrance fee to MP, train ride back from Aguas Calientes to... More

This site has a certain spirituality that one needs to go and experience. The site is incredible and the Peruvians have done a fantastic job of maintaining the site. It is definitely worth climbing Machupicchu Mountain as well. Get to the site early, buses start around 5:15 am. Explore the ruins first before they get busy then start your climb... More

Machu Picchu was added to the modern Wonders of the World and a visit confirms why. It is a man made self contained city honed out of solid rock at a very difficult location. In essence the university for the Incas set on a saddle in the Andes. In addition to the way the city is set out there is... More

My friend and I used hernan hermoza for our guide in the Cusco area and the hike on the Salkantay Trail to Machu Picchu. I can honestly say that hernan was the most amazing tour guide I have ever worked with. The service was great, our guide extremely passionate and knowledgeable, supportive, and attended to everything we needed. We could... More

From Cusco, Peru, you will have to take a 1-1/2 hr scenic bus ride to the Peru Rail train station in Ollantaytambo. From the train station, its another 1-1/2 hr to the foot of the mountain and another 30 mins bus ride up the treacherous mountain road to the visitor center. So all in all, about 3-1/2 hrs just to...
