My girlfriend and I chose carlitos tours to do our 2 day colca canyon trek with as it is a small local company. We both loved every minute of the trek, and cannot praise carlos enough he was extremely helpful and flexible and literally could not do enough for us, he even picked us up later on the night we... May 2015. . I think it is important to know something about the reviewer. I'm a 55yr old experience backpacker and international traveler. I began my research a year in advance. Early on Carlitos was having trouble keeping up with communication. Understandable if he is out on a trek. Since it is a small private local company with good reviews... More

A friend and I took Carlito's Tours two-day Colca Canyon hiking trek, and it was the highlight of our stay in Peru. I highly recommend the company. Carlito met us at our hostel the evening before the trek and explained in great detail all that we could expect. He went above and beyond, offering to store our luggage and drive... More

Recently spent 2 weeks in Peru with a friend. We are 2 single girls and wanted to do something fun and see more of Peru than just Macchu Picchu. The 2 day trekking tour of COlca Canyon offered by Carlitos Tours ended up being the BEST part of our trip, even exceeding our experience at Machu Picchu. We are very... More

We cannot say enough great things about this company! The tours are small and personal, with only 4-6 people. Carlitos also tries to group folks according to age and preferences, which makes for a cohesive group that hikes at about the same speed. We met really great folks on our trip and really enjoyed our guide, Jean. He spoke perfect... More

We did a private non-conventional tour (2 days, 1 night) to the Colca Canyon with some short treks. On the day before the trip, Carlitos met with us in our hotel and explained the details of the tour and answered all of our questions. We even got to choose which kind of snacks we would like during the trip -... More

Carlito grabbed us from the airport tired and confused and quickly put us at ease. He took us on a quick night time tour of Arequipa pointing out everything he could along the way. The next day, he met with us to go over the itinerary and even took us to the bus station to get our tickets to Puno.... More

Was great to find that Carlitos' ranking as the number 1 tour operator to Colca Canyon was well deserved. Arturos was attentive and helpful, from coming to our hotel to talk through the details of the trip the day before we left, to driving us to the airport. Jean, our tour guide, is the greatest - easily the best guide... More

We did a private not-conventional tour with some short treks (2 Days 1 Night-Long Route). Carlitos (company manager) met with us when we first arrived in Arequipa to go over our itinerary for the next few days, and to put us at ease that we would be well taken care of. He was great and very professional. Our guide on... More

We took a private tour with Carlitos Tours to Colca Canyon (2D/1N unconventional with some short treks). Carlitos personally picked us up at the airport and drove us around the city a little bit to show us around on the first day. Then bought us coffee as we went over the details of the tour. This was especially nice as... More
