We had a blast making causa and lomo saltado. The ingredients were all very fresh, and they did a great job explaining every step in the preparation process. We had a lot of fun sauteeing the beef and veggies with all the flames from the pisco! I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Arequipa.

Had a wonderful time with Lady learning to make ceviche, pescado a lo macho and then pisco sours. The class was very good value (65 soles + 20% discount if you stay at the also excellent value for money hotel). It lasted about 3 hours including time to eat the delicious food you prepare. Lady was informative, enthusiastic and very... More

It was our last day of a 2 week vacation in Peru. We stayed at the hotel Casa de Avila and signed up for the Peruvian cooking experience. What a relaxing activity to do on our last day of our trip. My husband and I took the class which was a really nice thing to do as a couple. We... More

My entire family loves good food and cooking, which is one of the reasons we chose Peru as a destination for a recent trip. We booked the mar cooking class with Lady and had a wonderful afternoon. Lady was a great and energetic teacher, and the dishes we prepared were delicious and made for an excellent, and filling, lunch afterwards.... More

Peruvian Cooking Experience was so much fun, and tasty, too! Instructions were very clear and organized. And ingredients used, you could get anywhere. So the class is practical, as well.

We had a fun time making several different classic Peruvian dishes. We skipped the tour of the market and did that on our own. I didn't feel like we missed much from what other guests told us. We did the bartending to learn how to make pisco sours and enjoyed that as well.

The cooking experience was very professional, fun, a complete meal, and, best of all, a delicious lunch! I would highly recommend this experience with multi-national fellow cooking students and an excellent teacher named Lady Milagros.
