Firstly, I would like to say that the chef Monica was very friendly and fun to cook with. Also, Raquel at the front desk was great. However, there were serious problems with the organization of the cooking class. I booked a private class with my husband and we agreed on a menu via email. When we arrived at the class,... More

Dear Guest We do our best to keep the Peruvian Cooking Experience original and fun. Growing as the Nr 1 cooking activity in Peru also takes us to face new challenges in organization. In your case, it was a little confuse to know if you were asking vegetarian, fish or regular menu (+6 mails). And we tried to fill all... More

We had been looking forward to our Peruvian cooking experience in Arequipa for a good few weeks, having booked way in advance of the course, only to be met with disappointment on arrival to the lesson. We were told that there would be no cooking class on that day and that we would not be able to participate. I could... More

Dear customer. We understand your dissapointment. Unfortuntately there was no way to do a class on Sunday. Our cooks take Sunday for their families and there was no way to have one of them comming to cook with you. Yes, there was a mistake taking your reservations and Tatiana sends her excuses. We should recognize an error at the orgaization... More

Each dish is unique and very good. Be bold and taste things you have never tried. The portions are large so sharing is acceptable. With each meal bread is served but save room for the deserts.

Amazing! Well worth the money. I have made ceviche twice since returning home. I wouldn't have attempted it without taking this class. I enjoyed working with Peruvian ingredients and learning about the foods. The market tour prior to the class was a great way to feel more connected to the culture. I wish we had time to stay for the... More

I got a good price to follow the lesson because i stayed in the hostel where the cooking lesson is organized. The teacher is very friendly and helpful. We were in a small group (6 pp) so the instruction was super clear and everyone participanted fully. We had very good lunch ( our own product) ! By the way, the... More

This is a really great option to get a good insight! I recommend to go to the market, make the dish and do the pisco sour class! You will be explained a lot about traditional food and cooking style and it is delicious and a lot of fun! Great friendly cook and a very nice place to stay!

The Cooking Experience was one of the highlights of our Peruvian trip. The morning market tour is not to be missed! Our guide was knowledgeable and delightful and gave us a thorough tour of the huge market which is unlike any we had ever seen. So many different fruits, potatoes & other things which were unfamiliar to us but she... More

We booked the market tour as well as the cooking class. The market tour was great, not the cooking class. At the market tour we learnt about different kind of fruits, potatoes, herbs and lots of other stuff! We had the opportunity to taste the different fruits as they bought it for the group and you are able to taste... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your review. Please be aware we do not promote the Cooking Experience as a cooking class, neither we say our cooks are professional chefs. We are peruvians, we cook at home same food we prepare with you. We want you to feel within a peruvian house and take a cultural souvenir you can repeat in... More

I had a such a great time - one of the highlights of my trip through Peru! I went solo since I was traveling alone and was accompanied by 3 couples. I thought at first it may a bit weird being with all couples but it was actually so much fun. The host of the cooking experience and owner of... More
