Booked an Ingapirca tour for the next day with the excellent freelance tour-guide Xavier. Included lunch at unique spot and the stop at Biblián's Santuario de la Virgen del Rocío church was worthwhile. Xavier is a very knowledgeable guide with a degree in tourism. I did two day trips, both booked at the last minute through the grayline offices in Cuenca, the first trip was to el cajas national park which was thoroughly enjoyable, a decent walk at a gentle pace at altitude which allowed plenty of time for photos and general chit chat.we visited two areas and we were very lucky to see... We took two tours from Cuenca; Ingapirca with the wonderful tour guide Franco and Cajas Park with the equally terrific guide Juan. The lunches included with the tours were both at wonderful unique spots, the guides were very knowledgable in both cases and we had a great time on both tours.
