and the Museo del Banco Central is no exception. On the ground floor there is an impressive collection of well-preserved artefacts from various ancient and pre-Inca cultures - mainly pottery and jewellery -and some explanation as to how different cultures used to live. This is a terrific museum with an entry fee of $1.50! You'll have a chance to see a lot of artifacts from different areas of Ecuador which are very interesting (pottery, jewelry, figures, etc) as well as artwork, both contemporary and historical.
