This was one of my top places to visit when I went to Quito and I was not disappointed. It is absolutely gorgeous inside with the delicate gold leaves. I would go back to Quito just to visit this church again

This is a must see sight in Quito. The church is absolutely amazing - and one of the prettiest and impressive churches I have every seen.

The statue is worth seeing, but the park and the views from the small mountain are incredible. You can see north, south, and east; not as much to the west. If you want a lite lunch, the indigenous people have booths for food and souvenirs. It is a good place to relax. There is also one of the better restaurants... More

Entry fee is a little steep as it's only about 20 minutes entertainment because you can't take pictures, but beautiful all the same.

This is one of the most beautiful church interiors that we have seen. The ceilings, decorative elements, use of gold plate, alter, pulpit are amazing - the workmanship is extraordinary.

Beautiful on the inside! You have to make a detour for this one. Lots of gold everywhere you look. Amazing.

The facade of this Church is stunning and I suggest you spend time admiring it and taking it in. Also go in if you can. It's right in the centre of Quito and is the main attraction.

Ornate and beautiful. Quito is working hard to prepare for the Pope's visit so much effort around the city is to make the place beautiful.

Walking through the portals, I was simply speechless, trying to apprehend just what I was seeing. This much gold, on the walls, ceiling, in niches, nooks, and crannies, a true sight to behold. Find a guide to deepen the experience.
