Casa de la Música is an exquisite modern building designed to enjoy music, this concert house was donated by the Neustaetter family to Quito. If you are in the city check the web site “casadelamusic.ec” for the weekly agenda where you can find interesting musical events.

Every week Casa de la Musica has some special events , and from time to time some simphonic orchestras from around the world are presented, or some Musical groups are presented. The acustic is perfect, just check the bulletins to see what is in the programs. I have been many times there , if you are fan of good music... More

We attended the Christmas concert at Casa de la Musica and were quite impressed. The hall is really well designed both asethetically and acoustically. The program was a collection of mostly US Christmas songs from the big band era. The performers were excellent and we also enjoyed the two dancers who did jitterbug and Charleston type dances to some of... More

I do apreciate the democratization of the art and giving access in a great environment to great concerts for less than 10$, most even 5$ or even free is to aplaude. Gracias Casa de la Musica you are my number one on the list

We visited during the day and enjoyed the many little shops. Seems like it would be a good place for an evening visit too.

There are a number of good restaurants with very affordable in interesting lunch menus. If you don't speak any Spanish, it may be difficult to order because most of the menus are not in Spanish and English.

Casa De la Musica is a new concert hall. The acoustics are marvelous. Most concerts are $5.00. Tickets are available on line or at the box office which is open only on Fridays.

We attended a wonderful concert in this beautiful venue featuring Maria Isabel Albuja, acompanied by guitarist Damiano Fernando Proaño and Manolo Cáceres. What a presentation of Latin love songs in an acoustical environment to enjoy to the max!

I love the rooms, very good acustics and quality music. The only problem is that people at ticket booth is a little rude and not very organised.

Beautiful building with great acoustics. They also have deserts and drinks you can buy beforehand to relax and mingle with other music-lovers. Tickets tend to sell out
