We recently returned from our fantastic trip to Ecuador. It is an incredible country with a great diversity, from the mountains to the rainforest to the Galapagos. The Galapagos was surreal with all the tame wildlife. To the animals people are just part of the landscape. It was amazing to be so close to so many animals. Snorkeling with playful... More

My Galapagos experience on the Santa Cruz was the 6-day/5-night western islands cruise and it was amazing. The crew and naturalists were very helpful and knowledgeable, providing us with 2-3 excursions per day. They coped well with a broad range of guests, aged from 1-80 and from many countries. We were split into 6 groups of 10-15 people, so everybody... More

It's not often I give a 5 star review but these guys were superb. We booked a 3 week trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos through a dive specialist agent in the UK who used these guys for part of our tour (mostly the bits in Ecuador mainland). We weren't terribly impressed with the UK travel agent for a number... More

We and our two children (9 and 12) had a wonderful trip to the Galapagos with Metropolitan Touring! The layover hotel in Guayaquil (Hilton Colon) was very nice, but the trip aboard La Pinta was truly outstanding. Very knowledgeable and personable naturalists (Sabina, Ramiro, Gabriel), charming director Xavier, fascinating things to see (tortoises, iguanas, fish & sharks, rays, birds, etc.... More

Just returned home from a 6-night/7 day expedition to The Galapagos on Isabela11 (25 November - 1 December). We visited 6 of the more northern islands and had a quite wonderful time that far exceeded our expectations. The guides Socrates, Jose and Walter, who accompanied us on all our island visits and snorkeling, worked exceptionally hard to ensure we got... More

We had the best experience of touring Galapagos aboard La Pinta yacht. 48 guests, all on the main deck with 33 crews. The expert guided walks and the service were excellent in every way. It offered delicious cuisine and plenty of comfort on board. La Pinta is the ideal yacht for families travelling together, couples by themselves, or friends!

Our guide, Aldo, was superb. He spoke excellent English which made our experience so much more full. He explained local history and landmarks as we drove along. We stopped at the equator for a while to listen to a local historian. We reached our destination of Otovalo to enjoy the local market, which was amazing. I wish we had had... More

The boat holds 90 guests. We had 80 on our trip. We were broke down unto groups of approx 15 with a guide for all excursions and this worked very well. You do not have to sit together as a group for meals. The dining room has a no reservation policy. Most tables are set up for 4 - 6.... More

From the beginning it was clear that this was an expedition not a cruise ...but a very luxurious one. we did the 7N/8D cruise of the Northern Galapagos. The naturalists were knowledgeable ,spoke english well and fun. Getting from the ship to the various islands everyday was an experience in itself with the pangas dashing through heavy swell and surf with... More

We booked our 5 day Galapagos cruise with a little trepidation as neither of us is a good sailor. We chose M.V. Santa Cruz because we thought it would be a more "stable" sailing experience and we were delighted with our choice. We did not have a moment's sea-sickness and were able to really enjoy the great activities and the... More
