We cruised on the La Pinta from Jan 25th to Jan 29th and had a very good time. We chose the La Pinta because I'm prone to sea sickness and think the bigger boat would be helpful in countering that. The company and the boat also had very good reviews and while there are certainly cheaper options there seem to... More

Metropolitan Touring does a great job of coordinating your itinerary within your parameters. Paulina Garces is so professional & knowledgeable and deserves a mention in this review as my #1 contact. I was informed every step along the way as to what to expect. In Quito I was transported to the airport with other guests without any worries, bags taken... More

We booked our trip to Ecuador's Amazonian Rainforest, Galapago's Island cruise on the Santa Cruz 11 and Quito's historical Old Town staying at their boutique hotel, Casa Gangoteno, through our brilliant Toronto travel agent. Much to our delight, Metropoitan Touring Company provided superior service from the minute we landed and throughout our journey, which included 10 flights, until our final... More

We spent 5 days on the Santa Cruz II leading up to Christmas 2015. The boat is beautiful and clean and the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food was good but the service was amazing in the restaurant, bar and as well as the administration. The guides were so knowledgable and each guide has their own interesting tidbits... More

We spent five nights touring the eastern Galapagos Islands on Santa Cruz as part of our honeymoon. We booked through Trailfinders in the UK, and the cruise and the local partner was Metropolitan Touring. The trip was unforgettable. The islands themselves are of course amazing, but the cruise was also a big part of this. We were briefed ahead about... More

Well organised and very informative cruise to magical ancient islands . The wildlife is wonderful to see. The Santa Cruz 11 was also well run and the food was good. The guides were all helpful educational and extremely friendly. The amount of wildlife we saw was awsome

We spent 7 nights on La Pinta (the Eastern and Northern Galapagos) and had an amazing time. Granted, pretty much everywhere we went in the Galapagos was spectacular, and we wanted to plan to come back even before the trip was over. The naturalist guides (particularly Salvador) are extremely nice, very knowledgeable, and were able to answer all of our... More

We spent 5 nights on the new Santa Cruz 2. The ship is well designed with plenty of space. Nothing like a typical cruise ship where you have crowds everywhere. Our cruise was nearly full and the public spaces were always almost empty. The itinerary was fantastic with 5 nights. It was just the right amount of time and had... More

My wife and I spent a couple of days in Quito en route to the Galapagos and were looked after by Henri and Louis. Henri was the most knowledgeable, intelligent and incredibly "laid-back" guide I have every experienced. We chatted throughout our time with him about a range of topics pertaining to Ecuador, from it's position in the international Rose... More
