We (two adults, two children in two rooms, 313 and 315) stayed aboard La Pinta for four days as part of our Adventures by Disney vacation. This was one of the best travel experiences we ever had. Here's why: 1) The naturalists who take groups to the islands and snorkeling are truly passionate and knowledgeable about the Galapagos and make... More

In February, my husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to travel for two weeks to the Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu through a tour organized by Monograms. When we arrived at Quito, Ecuador, at 11PM, we were promptly greeted at the airport by a young lady named Hayde who gave us our itinerary for the next day which we... More

I’m not sure that I really need to review our trip through the Galapagos other than to say that Metropolitan Tours, the ship owner, does a first class job in every way imaginable. The ship, on the other hand, could use some help which is coming in the form of a new ship. The Santa Cruz, originally put into service... More

My husband and I took a smart Tour to Peru and Ecuador with a 5 day 4 night cruise of the Galapagos islands on the MV Santa Cruz. The Cruise was far beyond our expectations. We took the upgrade to the boat deck. We had floor to ceiling windows in our cabin. The room was serviced 3x during the day... More

I was unsure of all aspects of this trip but it worked out perfectly. The crew, schedule, people you meet, quality of the experience all excellent. My wife has some issues with salt and peppers, here we had a single person ( Pablo) looking after her every meal. A salad would come and he quickly replaced it in seconds, everyone... More

We were booked on a smaller ship for a longer cruise but was cancelled due to engine problems. I was sceptical being on a larger ship getting everyone on & off for the attractions. Let's just say it was done with military precision. We all had groups everything was explained the day before & discussed when we returned. There is... More

We took the 5 days tour of the Galapagos of the eastern islands. The tour was fantastic. The days are extremely well organized and structured. We usually do not go on group guided activities, but in the Galapagos, it is really the only way you can travel. To organize and execute the daily hikes and water activities for 90 passengers... My wife and I along with two other couples used Metropolitan for our trip to Quito and the Galapagos. The details of our trip of a lifetime, staying at Casa Gangotena and aboard La Pinta, we're arranged with Maria Paulina, who not only handed us off to the different stages of our odyssey, but treated us with true compassion as... We have just returned 5 days / 4 nights expedition cruise on board our MV Santa Cruz (Monday-Friday, Northern Island)with Metropolitan Tours. WOW! The staff at Metropolitan are pros on this trip and made our trip very special and amazingly fun & organized. The itinerary aboard the ship is very active (if you choose to do all of the activities)... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights/5 days aboard the Isabela II in January 2015. We booked through an agency called Sangay Touring on Av. Amazonas in Quito, and the proprietor Robin Slater could not have been more helpful. Robin spent a huge amount of time helping us organise the trip, explaining details, working out what we wanted so he... More
