19 days holiday with 12 days of biking (about 700 km) in a beautiful country with very friendly and beautiful people, less friendly dogs (but we learned how to survive them) and a great driver and guide who joined us the whole trip. Our driver of the jeep was always close to the group to be of help if needed.... More

So we originally booked the 1 day Cotopaxi mountain bike tour. Unfortunately we were unable to do cotopaxi because it was active and blowing smoke and was closed down by the government . Our guides were very accodomating though and we headed to Antisana a mountain nearby with great biking and awesome views of Cotopaxi. As we biked down Antisana... More

Dear Friend, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. Cotopaxi was always our most famous trip. When it started erupting we needed to find a suitable alternative. We live in a country that is necessary to wake up in the morning and check which roads are closed due to some amazing natural event, in this case the second highest... More

We have been very happy to have chosen biking tour to visit cotopaxi, quilotoa and chimborazo areas. Every moment was a surprise. Perfect organisation, very nice and tipical accomodation for the nights. Fantastic places visited and good guidance from the guide. We think is the best way to visit those places. We strongly recommend to choose them!

Just wanted to say what an amazing adventure I had with the Biking Dutchman. I really had no idea what was in store for us, but it was more than I could have imagined. Our guide Fernando was helpful, informative and realistic about the terrain. The route was accessible for all skill levels and there was an offer of a car... More

Just completed the three day bike trip and it was fantastic, highly recommended. The accomodation was great and dinner was US$5.00 and well worth it. Both Estafaan and Gabrielle went out of their way to make the trip relaxing and fun and went the extra mile to get us back to Quito during the strike. Well done on a fantastic... More

As you could probably tell our country is everything BUT boring. We wonder why we have survived for so long when we are definetely no tthe biggest company. We think it is because we are able to adapt to changing circumstances. We have great guides, we make every tour personal, and we actually care for the safety of our tourists.... More

I had a great time. I'm an ok biker but never mountain biked before. I went with my girlfriend who is not as good as a biker and she had some difficulties. There were a couple times I was a little unsure but our guide was great and they were very patient/helpful. Our tour guide Alberto made the trip that... More

The best thing we did in Ecuador! We did the 3 day trip which was a great way to combine sight seeing with some moderate exercise... could defiantly get used to being dropped at the top of mountains to bike down! Biking is certainly not too technical, and enjoyable for all. Fernando was a great guide, very knowledgable, experienced and... More

We completed the 1 day tour of Cotopaxi with the Biking Dutchman, and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. The scenery was amazing, and the bike riding was at times difficult but exciting and enjoyable. The bikes could have been better (from people we spoke to on the day they said the bikes in the Bolivian bike tours are better quality),... More

Thanks for your kind review. I especially appreciated the part where you mentioned that other riders “said the bikes in the Bolivian bike tours are better quality" because it gives me the opportunity to point out how good value we are! In Bolivia the prices for a day trip are US$ 110 (750 Bolivianos) per person and up. We, on... More

We went on two tours with the Biking Dutch man. The first was to the hot springs with Jan. The cycle on the old railway line was really nice. Beautiful views. We are thrilled to read that you could bond to other similar minded travelers and that the experience at Cotopaxi let you meet new friends!
