I booked a daytrip to the Artisana with the Biking Dutchman. It was a lot of fun! The cycling was mostly downhill, but uphill as well, so it was pretty active but no too challenging. The views were amazing and for lunch we had a nice picnic.

Dear Jenny I simply do not know how to thank you enough for your encouraging words “In the month I’ve spent in South America this is easily the best day trip I’ve been on” We work very hard to understand and please our clients. Sometimes it is easier than others. According to Jan -in spite of your own appreciation of... More

We were looking forward to going on the three-day, two night trip. However, we had gotten sick a few days BEFORE the trip and were not able to make it. The company seemed very understanding and tried to help us to make it still possible to go on part of it. We were not able to do it, but appreciated... More

We were so looking forward organizing this trip for you and were deeply disappointed that your family couldn’t do it. However, in deed, we understood your situation and made our best to help you. Thanks for your generous offer, while in Quito, to pay more than the deposit, to cover our losses. Not always clients react that way. We do... More

Did the three days-tour! Geat Experience! Guide Fernando did an excellent job! I can highly recommend this trip! However: Don´t expect to get the discount as pointed out in the webside: you get it only if you show up with 6 people to apply for the tour. So we were 11 people on the tour, everbody expected to get the... More

We appreciated very much your input. Also the comments about the confusion we helped creating about the discounts granted. Thanks to that, we have changed our PRICES’ list so not to create false expectations. The fact that we use 4x4 enables us to take you to places, otherwise inaccessible. It also helps to control the bikers and provides more security.... More

We did the three-day tour Cotopaxi- Quilotoa Crater Lake - Chimborazo. On the first day we were quite a lot of participants. On day two and three we were only three plus our excellent guide Estefan. It was such a great trip. We liked everything. Our stay in Urbina with Rodrigo was one of the highlights! This trip is incredibly... More

On behalf of the BIKING DUTCHMAN's crew, receive our heartfelt thanks for your awesome review. I am especially thankful for mentioning Urbina, as it is my favorite place to stay too. I love all the others, but I reckon that Rodrigo always goes the extra mile for our passengers, making them part of our culture. Thank you too for the... More

The Biking Dutchman was recommended to us by a colleague who had done a 4 day tour - he told us that the scenery, locations and food were excellent....and he was not wrong. We had our 12 and 9 year old children with us. We have all mountain biked before but it would not have mattered if we had not.... More

I recently returned from a trip to Ecuador (in early December) and scheduled a single day bike tour with Biking Dutchman. The tour was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip. Everyone I dealt with at their business was extremely professional (and very fun, too!). I recommend them enthusiastically. The single day tours normally go to Cotopxi, but that... More

After reading your encouraging words, I am speechless! We talked with Jan about it and he also sends his best regards and wishes for a successful 2016. We feel blessed to live in Ecuador: a country which has a huge diversity. The word goes: “ All you need is Ecuador. All in one place. All so near…. “ and it... More

My wife and I enjoy seeing a country by bike, it gives you a better opportunity to stop and meet people and take pictures. We were lucky enough to have our trip led by Jan the owner. We enjoyed the first segment so much we enlisted Jan to take us on an additional 4 days in a different section of... More

Hello David It was for us a real pleasure to get to know you better. We appreciated all your advice to improve our marketing; as it is hard to keep up with the new technologies! We four kiwis joined an organised day trip with another four travellers. Our guide Alberto was brilliant with driver Patricio and dog Champion contributing to an enjoyable day out. The weather was kind and we were fortunate to see five condors, a trip highlight. The MTB riding is at a novice level (downhill most of the way) giving plenty of... More
