My boyfriend Jimmy and I took two tours with Michael the first to Valparaiso and the second to the valley. We had such a great time hanging out with him the first time around that we decided the next day to call him again to book another tour. Not only is Michael a wealth of information about everything but he... More

As many have already said before me on here, Michael offers great tours. My wife and I were lucky enough to take two tours with Michael during our visit to Chile. Even as seasoned travelers, a tour with Michael was very good for seeing the many sights in the Valparaiso region. The first tour we took with Michael he picked... More

We had a day to spare while passing through Santiago, so engaged Michael to show us Valparaiso. He collected us from our hotel, drove us to the coast, & showed us around. His English is excellent, as is his local knowledge. We liked the fact that he showed us parts of the town other than the well trodden tourist path.... More

Michael picked us up at our Bed and breakfast and off we set by foot. We had a wonderful wander through the backstreets and saw some wonderful old and renovated buildings. His knowledge is vast and our tour continued down into the city. Went into the old stock exchange, banks etc. Had lunch at a local restaurant called Cinzano which... More

We booked a private tour with Michael and he picked us up at the bus station (and dropped us as well). We traveled by public transportation to different sights, and Michael amazed us with his vast knowledge. Since we had our eight-yr old son with us, Michael explained everything so he could understand as well. Not only that, he even... More

Michael takes you all over the place to see parts of Valparaiso that I very much doubt other tours cover. For example, we went inside several of the old houses and met the owners. We got to go up to the roof of a hotel, for the view. We had lunch in an old bar by the waterfront. And, indeed,... More

Had a day with Michael prior to boarding a ship. He already had two people booked for that day and they were kind enough to let us join them. Michael really knows this city and we walked, watched, ate and had a great time absorbing the local culture and history. Really do recommend him, he is just the best.

When a guy like Michael has so many great reviews one wonders whether one should add another one. Nonetheless I feel compelled to tell you that if you're planning to visit Valparaiso/Vina del Mar or go wine tasting in the Casablanca Valley, you should only do so with Michael's able guidance. We did both with Michael. First, Michael gave us... More

Michael gave my husband and I an amazing tour of Valparais on Jan 20, 2014. Not only is Michael charming and knowledgeable but our tour exceeded our expectation in two more ways. He learned that my husband was had Austrian roots, so included special places that he knew my husband would love. As an example, we toured a historic German... More

There were two of us for a tour of Valparaiso and it lasted from 10am to 4.30pm. We can guarantee you will have your monies worth with Michael. If you have the stamina then he will take you all over the City from one end to the other. Speaking with him he seems to do different tours with different people.... More
