"Pay What You Want" Walking Tours Everyday of the week at 10am and 3pm in Valparaiso, Chile. We meet in front of the huge monument in Plaza Sotomayor in Valparaiso every day of the week. Our guides wear red and white striped t-shirts like the children's book 'Where is Wally' or 'Where's Waldo' on some countries, so it is easy to find us. The tour is a 3 hour highlights walk through the city giving you historical, cultural, gastronomical and street art insights into Valparaiso Chile. Reservations are not required but always recommended. We also offer private tours for those who want a smaller group and more personalised experience.

Our Wally guides were Philippe and Eduardo - both excellent and funny, engaging and English speaking. The suggested tip is 5000 a 10000 pesos for the 2.5-3 hour tour. We tipped more and the tour was well worth it. This company is very professional and well organized.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Tours 4 Tips. We very rarely take any sort of tour, but this had come highly recommended by a friend who had lived in Valparaiso, and we had a great time. We enjoyed a fun group of people, and learned all sorts of things we wouldn't have on our own. Yes, there are feral... More

I loved this tour the best way to capture the essence of this great city. History of how the city developed and it's european influences in architecture and it's natural disaster experienced was enlightening. All this and was told by our wonderful and knowledgeable guide Priscilla. There are many photo opportunities and gastronomic treats along the way. A highlight was... More

We had not come across this concept before and took the tour in Valparaiso in late December 2014. It was great! The young women who lead our tour, Fernanda, was an outstanding guide. She was, lively, funny and, of course, very well informed about Valparaiso. She imparted to us not only the history of Valparaiso and how it has developed... More

The tour lasts around 2h 30m and takes you to some highlights in Valpo. Our Wally was funny and friendly and gave us LOTS of tips of other things to do, restaurants to eat and so on. It is a walking tour though, so you won't be able to enter shops, museums, churches, etc. It is great if you want... More

A comprehensive walking tour including a funicular ride to the Unesco protected portion of the city that takes in some of the most important murals in the city. Our guide was informative about the three most famous muralists and how to identify their work.

Loved the atmosphere, the details, the mix of history, pop culture, cooking, everything... I had done Valparaiso, did the morning one in Santiago, great access to markets and cemetary.

We visited loads if places we wouldn't have seen otherwise and there's a few cheeky surprises thrown in too ( I don't want to ruin the surprise though!). We took... More

Just did this tour yesterday with Priscilla-she was fantastic! We saw heaps, learned a lot and got a little oriented with this crazy city! Got a chance to ride a funicular, a trolley car and even got a sweet treat mid tour and a drink at the end, all included. You decide what to pay at the end of the... More

This was a great tour. However, there may be more than one free walking tour, and I am not certain if we were on the actual Tours4Tips one or not.but it was good. Our guide took us up ascencores, on a trolley bus, got us a free Alfajores, and gave us a chicon drink at the end. Great trip.
