"Pay What You Want" Walking Tours Everyday of the week at 10am and 3pm in Valparaiso, Chile. We meet in front of the huge monument in Plaza Sotomayor in Valparaiso every day of the week. Our guides wear red and white striped t-shirts like the children's book 'Where is Wally' or 'Where's Waldo' on some countries, so it is easy to find us. The tour is a 3 hour highlights walk through the city giving you historical, cultural, gastronomical and street art insights into Valparaiso Chile. Reservations are not required but always recommended. We also offer private tours for those who want a smaller group and more personalised experience..

Just took the English version of the tour with Chris. Valpo is an incredible city and I would strongly encourage anyone to visit if they're in the area, especially if you enjoy street art (and dogs!). However, we would have missed out on a lot of the beauty and culture of the city if we hadn't taken this tour. Of... More

Good tour, nice way to see the city. Really sweet tour guide. Learn the history of the city and Chilean customs. Good value too. Make sure you grab a salmon empanada from the lovely guy who gives you biscuits. Divine.

This was one of the best walking tours I've been on. The three hours just flew by. Our guide, Camilo, is engaging and very knowledgeable about Valparaiso. His love of the city shines through. There were nice little surprises all along the way including a ride on the old trolley and an ascensor. Really enjoyed all the murals. The tips... More

Did the tour in Spanish with Nacho (Ignacio). Very good, he was patient and answered questions and told stories. Great way to start your visit to get to know the city. At the end of the tour you can hang out at the office and drink Chilean wine (it's the cheap kind they use for cocktails though). Nice to be... More

As far as walkng tours go, this was definitely one of the most engaging and insightful tours that I have taken. Our guide Paula had near perfect English, and her enthusiasm for the history and charm of Valparaiso was contagious. We also got some great recommendations from Paula re. eating/drinking which we definitely wouldn't have known about otherwise. All in... More

Tours 4 Tips did a great job of conveying the wonderful story of Valparaiso. I walked away from this tour completely buzzing for the city. The way our enthusiastic (but not cringey) guide tied his narrative together with the graffiti, the stray dogs, the slides, the lifts and the local characters made this seem far more personal than so many... Saw so much, got a real feel for this unusual city. We've done a lot of walking tours, this is up at the top. Great empanadas at Don Sergios too!

I did the tour with Paula and she was funny, friendly and full of energy - the perfect guide! :) We got a lot of free rides like a lift with a trolly bus, one elevator and sweets and alcohol! I had a great time!

Our tour guide, Eduardo, is a native born Portero. He loves his city, and you can definitely tell! I've done Tours 4 Tips in Santiago... But the tour in Valparaiso is hands-down my favorite so far. LOVED IT!

Gracias LUPE for taking all of our tours. I have to agree that Eduardo is a darling, plus he looks a bit like Wally. Thanks for your kind words, Sincerely, Peter More
