"Pay What You Want" Walking Tours Everyday of the week at 10am and 3pm in Valparaiso, Chile. We meet in front of the huge monument in Plaza Sotomayor in Valparaiso every day of the week. Our guides wear red and white striped t-shirts like the children's book 'Where is Wally' or 'Where's Waldo' on some countries, so it is easy to find us. The tour is a 3 hour highlights walk through the city giving you historical, cultural, gastronomical and street art insights into Valparaiso Chile. Reservations are not required but always recommended. We also offer private tours for those who want a smaller group and more personalised experience.

Met at the landmark at 3pm. Big crowd and they divided us up to English speaking and Spanish speaking. Guide was very knowledgable, had great tips about the area and history. I highly recommend this tour!!

My husband and I are more do-it-yourself travelers, but had a short time here and thought we would give it a try. The tour guides (we had Ignacio and Edwardo - both we highly recommend) were local and had very helpful tips and recommendations. The tour is in English and the guides speak very well. We were told by a... More

We really enjoyed this excellent tour. Our guide was enthusiastic, friendly and informative. We learnt a lot about Valparaiso and saw many interesting places and sights. We did this tour after doing the Tours for Tips in Santiago (same company) and highly recommend it. Our guide kindly recommended places to see for after the tour too.

3 hours very well spent this afternoon. I have done a few free walking tours now, but this stands out for me as the best one yet. Eduardo was a truly magnificent guide, enthusiastic, energetic, kept everyones attention for 3 hours and covered a fair bit of ground in this magical port! He also gave great restaurant recommendations (as well... More

We really enjoyed the informative and enthusiastic tour today. It gave us great insight into Valparaíso and took us to places we would not have found by ourselves. Eduardo was a great guide, with endless enthusiasm, sharing interesting anecdotes and with the ability to answer every question put to him. He also provided recommendations for places to visit and eat... More

Already did the two tours back in Santiago, so I already knew where i was going. Same same. People knew there city very well, they love it ! They show you places you would've never been to on your own. Explaining a lot of stuff that you can't read in a book. Even after the tour I had an extra... More

Amazing tour that inspires an appreciation for Valaparaíso and its history. Simply head to Plaza Sotomayor and look for "Wally" who will be wearing a red and white striped shirt similar to that of "Where's Waldo?" Tours leave at 10am and 3pm and last 2-3 hours (not too strenuous). Public parking is available right at the Plaza for those who... More

Our guide Priscilla was a credit to the group Tour4Tips. Her knowledge of her home and the city she loves dearly, Valparaiso was remarkable. She was the ultimate guide mixing facts and adding her unique comedic ability. This tour has to be the best walking tour I have ever experienced.

This is a brilliant thing to do in Valparaiso and I so wish other cities did the same thing. Your guide will let you know interesting things about what you see as well as giving you tips on staying safe in a strange city. Our guide was Felipe, whose English was very good and sense of humour equally so. It... More
