I ended up having a one-on-one class with Ines and it was such a great day. She was so nice and did a great job instructing and assisting with all of the cooking. We prepared a huge delicious meal with several courses and a variety of different Chilean foods - plus we made pisco sours and enjoyed a couple glasses... More

My husband, 20 year old son and I signed up for the morning cooking class today. The three of us met Ines in front of a local cafe (very easy to find) and sat down to consider options for the various courses we would prepare and eat. I can't list at the moment all the Chilean names but we loved... More

Markets are the first place I head for in a new city - so having Ines guide us through this one was an instant delight. Being able to ask what something strange was (how else would you find out the brown lumpy things were dried skinned peaches used for making drinks) was a real luxury. Ines is a cook -... More

Was a really fun day! First starting with shopping around the markets and then bringing the groceries back to the kitchen. Carolina, our chef, was so great to spend the day with. She was friendly, nice, and her cooking skills are impeccable. Would definitely recommend this activity if you find yourself in Valparaiso.

Our day started with Chef Inez greeting us at the dock. She took us to the market to buy the food for the class. The van they provided (specially negotiated for our large group) was really nice. The market was interesting as was the little tour of the area. Upon arriving at the darling kitchen school with its large red... More

Thank you Boris for this amazing cooking class, from the visit of the market to the pisco sour session to the Violetta Parra music and tasting of great empanadas, pastel de choclo, ceviche. From the minut we met you to the minute we had to leave (even though we didn't want) you managed to share your love for cooking and... More

I participated in a cooking class last Saturday. Great experience, our teacher Carolina was superset and helpful and attentive all the time, even though instead of 5 hours the class took 7 hours :D First we bought fresh reineta fish, corn and vegetables etc at the market, then drove by local bus back to class kitchen. Everybody got their tasks,... More

Done a bunch of cooking classes around the world and this one ranks up there right at the top. We started out going to the market which was a really unique and informative experience. The class itself was really hands-on which was a lot of fun. We made multiple, really tasty dishes and learned a lot about Chilean cuisine and... More

This is a great experience. Boris will take you to a big market where he buys the local produce and introduces you to a few Porteños. Back at the 'school' you will prepare a full Chilean menu - we made cerviche, empanadas and 'Pastel de Choclo' (a kind of corn pie, delicious!). Pisco sours liven up the experience, plus a... More
