When I heard about Chilean cooking class I was excited. Seemed a perfect way to learn how to cook the delicious foods I had been eating. The price at 38 000 pesos was a little steep but I thought it would be worth it. However I was wrong. When we went to the market the chef bought everything without telling... More

Well obviously Honeybeers did not enjoy his/her Chilean Cuisine Cooking Class much and we are very sorry about that.. We dont know when they may have cooked with us but their experience is not the norm as we trust you will note from the other 200 plus reviews here. The class is indeed a social experience. It takes about 5... More

This was our first time atending to a cooking class and it was a great experience. We made a lot of food, and it was not possible to eat it all. The group was great, and Caro the chef was really nice and a good teacher. If attending, it's important to know that the whole group needs to agree on... More

Carolina met us in a cafe at 4:30 pm, shared recipes so that our group could choose what we wanted to make, took us to the open air market to choose our produce and protein and brought us back to the school to prepare and finally eat all our creations. We had a fantastic time and learned a lot about... More

Boris our teacher and chef made our night the highlight of our entire trip to south America. Getting an insider's view to shopping at a local market and getting to learn and cook some traditional dishes was amazing. A fun engaging evening, I wish I could take the class again tonight. Thanks Boris!

Definitely worth it if you have the time and money. Boris, our chef, provided us with a taste of Chilean culture, history, and delicious food. I recommend this excursion to anybody who's a well seasoned or aspiring chef!

About 6 months ago, my wife & I started planning an extended trip to South America. I am a foodie, and love learning about new cuisines. A friend told me about Martin and Chilean Cuisine in Valparaiso. I emailed, told him of our trip & the referral, ballparked the dates, and as the time got closer, we were given a... More

We did the cooking course with Ines, she was lovely and so knowledgable about Chilean cuisine. She taught us how to make a range of Chilean dishes, including a delicious salsa and of course the pisco sours!! I would highly recommend this course to anyone in valpariso, it was a really fun day and great value for money!!

Amazing food and really good experience. The woman who coordinated it was really friendly and was a great chef and teacher. We had a lot of food and wine for the money and was a very enjoyable and informative experience. My only criticism would be that it took a very long time (2hrs) to meet up with the rest of... More
