The ski area at La Parva is about 3/4 of the size of an average major resort in Utah or Colorado, but it being connected to Valle Nevado, and offering a multi-resort pass is a great plus. The drops are significant (the highest point a lift can take you to is close to 12,000 ft.), so the runs can take... more

La Parva is a great resort, so basically you could be staying anywhere and it wouldn't matter as long as it was less than 15 minutes away from La Parva's base. The village is difficult to rent at, it is better to seek lodgings in the town of farellones below, and to have your own car so you can choose... more
