Picturesque and interesting during the day with the Metropolitan Park and its views from the top of the funicular the Zoo and shopping areas and vibrant at night with the wide choice of restaurants bars and clubs. We were particularly impressed at how clean the streets were kept. More

This is my favorite area for food and drink and shopping. Best experienced after dark. Easily accessible by the metro or walking from Plaza de Armas. More

Bellavista - the self proclaimed bohemian centre of Santiag is getting to down at heel and full of tourists. Got to Lastarre or even Barrio Brazil for a change More

Start out at Patio Bellavista & branch out to a few neighboring streets. Artsy, funky, lgbt! More

The Bellavista neighborhood has many stores selling handicrafts, souvenirs, and above all, Lapus Lazuli and silver jewelry. You can combine a walk around the shops with lunch or dinner at one of the Bohemian restaurants and a funicular ride to the top of the Cerro (hill) for n amazing view. This area is a fabulous area to visit as it is filled with small local restaurants and bars,frequented largely by local Uni Students& Staff.Great local food ,wine & beers.Very visitor friendly. More

Great for soaking in the ambience of city life. Sitting outside cafes along with the locals mostly students is a great way of soaking in the atmosphere. More
