This was the only tour I've taken so far that has been on time! And Pedro actually was early! We were all picked up in his van(4 other women) and our 1st stop was for breakfast at El Volcan. We had coffee, tea, cake, etc. Delicious and all prepared by Pedro. The day just kept getting better and better: the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Pedro and Alexandra to the Pacific Coast. Our first stop was the port of San Antonio where sea lions and pelicans greeted us. Shortly afterwards, we had a breakfast snack with a stunning view of the ocean before heading to Isla Negra for a tour of one of Pablo Neruda’s houses. We then enjoyed... More

Last week my friend and I were lucky enough to spend a day hiking in El Morado with Pedro. The trek with Pedro was my favorite day in Chile. Pedro's friendly demeanor and knowledge quickly put my friend and I (2 single girls) at ease. The scenery at the park was absolutely spectactular. Pedro provided morning snacks and lunch along... When we were planning our holiday to Peru and Bolivia, we decided we should spend a couple of days in Santiago before our flight back to Australia. We wanted to see and enjoy some of Chile’s natural environment and also some of the wildlife it offers, especially the flying varieties (birds!). We were very keen on seeing (not ‘twitching’) endemic... More

Was picked up by Pedro - unfortunately I have missed the meeting point and was looking around, so pedro came by for a second round and I could still get on board. After an early start we had a picknick/breakfast in el Volcan before continuing to Banos Morales. A beautiful hike up the valley to the Laguna Morales followed. Unfortunately... More

I really can't say enough good things about Pedro and his tour. He picked us up on time and we began our drive to El Morado. We stopped at a "ghost town" right outside of El Morado for breakfast that he packed. Then we hiked El Morado. He was very patient and let us stop whenever we needed a breather.... More

A friend and I had only a couple of days in Santiago and we wanted to check out at least a part of the Andes. My friend found Fueguinos through some online hunting around and I joined him on the expedition. Pedro showed up in the morning; bright, early and cheerful and remained that way throughout the day. He spoke... More

We took one of the Fueguinos Day trips, to El Morado and the San Francisco Glacier, back in March 2011. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Chile. The trip was easy to arrange by email and our knowledgeable and friendly guide, Pedro, took care of us for the whole day starting with a pick-up and... More

Summary In Santiago for just a weekend left little time for a full on Andes back-packing trip or a Pantiagonia like experience. Fueguinos provided a concise, authentic and secluded view of the incredible Chilean Andes. One of the top 5 most beautiful outdoor experiences I've had in my 28 year old life. Details In Chile for an academic conference, my... More

I would highly recommend fueguinos. They provide 1 day trips in the surrounding of Santiago e.g. mountains, national parks and coast incl Pablo Neruda house. Tours start with a minimum of 2 people and maximum of 8. I had 2 trips in 2006 and due to the perfect service I booked another 2 trips in 2011. I joined tours to... More
