We had Phillipe, and he was brilliant. Passionate, irreverent and interesting, A great afternoon out in an interesting city. Also, a great way to get your bearings in a big city.
Very nice tour, with many historical information about Santiago and Chile in general. Excellent opportunity to find out some good places to eat and some Chilean plates. Although it's free, giving a tip to the guide is the minimum you can do to show your appreciation for his effort.
This is a good way to get oriented with the history and background of Santiago including the sites such as the La Moneda Palace that was associated with Chile's turbulent history in the 70s. Franco who led the tour did a great job. The only thing my wife and I were ticked off was the fact that at the end... More
A wonderful walking tour exploring Santiago. Not only does Felipe explain the buildings & the political background to this important Chilean city, but he can also recommend restaurants & bars that you can visit on your own afterwards. Sure, you could walk around with your guide book for hours on your own, but the "Free Walking Tour" is so much... More
My friends and I have been on many walking tours during our trip round South America. Felipe our guide for Santiago was by far my favourite. Excellent English, very friendly, courteous and has such a passion for his city. Highly recommended.
I took a tour with Jonny today and it was fantastic!!! He' not only very knowledgeable and passionate about Chile and its history, but he's also very funny! We took this tour with Johnny on our last day in Santiago. Wish we had done it on day 1! Johnny was great and it helped us appreciate the history and what the city has to offer. Highly recommended.
A fun and informative tour, a great way to see Santiago. Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgable, a very worthwhile trip, definately recommend!
The tour was fantastic, Franco was highly knowledgeable about the history of Santiago and cultural impact of events. We had a diverse group and all seemed engaged and interested during the tour. It's a good way to make a few friends especially if in a couple or traveling alone. Thank you Franco!
We took the free tour with Morisio on a quiet and hot day. The tour departed from the main plaza armas square and was easy to locate despite the chaotic nature of the sqaure. The tour wound through the downtown area and took on a lot of the political history of chile which we found fascinating including the presidential palace... More
