The Todos los santos lake is located inside the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park. It is a huge and beautiful lake upstream the Petrohué falls! If you want to breathe pure air and rest for a few days, this place is for you!

Don't pay for an expensive tour, you can take a blue bus (the small ones) for 2000-2500 pesos chilenos. Amazing lake, great views.

Once you arrive from Ensenada on a not too good gravel road after the entrance to the Petrohue waterfall (till then there is a very good asphalt road), don`t park in the paying lot. It is expensive and not too near to the boat trips, Drive around it to the left and get to the lake shore, where you can... More

Wish we had more time to stay and we only saw it for 30 minutes as part of a tour. We got off the bus and onto a boat for the visit. Beautiful waters and gorgeous views. A lot of exclusive homes on the shore line and a few fishing lodges around. With a little more time, worth a half... More

Spent two days at Petrohue Lodge on the shore of the lake. It rained much of the time we were there but, in between sets of rain, we had a nice walk exploring the shore, kayaked along the western shore for a couple of hours (tough coming back against the wind though), and hiked part of the Desolation Trail that... We did the lakes crossing from Petrohue to Peulla on a rare perfect day in January. The ferry trip, which lasts about 100 minutes gave us brilliant views of several volcanoes and the National Park. The photos don't do the trip justice. We also did a couple of short walks and a kayak trip around the Petrohue end of the... More

Did the Peulla day tour that Turistour offers.. the waters are crystal clear and on a good day shows a turquoise color! Be careful if visiting during December and January, there are flies on steroids that are attracted to dark colors (recommend wearing light colored clothes) that can be quite annoying. They sting but it doesn't itch like mosquitos! Even... More

This lake is beautiful- the way the light reflects off the turquoise water is unbelievable. Surrounded by a black sandy beach and snow capped mountains this is a gorgeous place to relax. We walked along the lake front round a few bays trying to do the 5km loop. We were sadly followed by swarms of flying orange beetles and had... More

The lake was crystal clear but getting a boat into the lake cost 5,000 pesos per person and wasn't really worth the money as all we did was go up and back for half an hour. It did give you another aspect of the volcano, but no commentary and nothing to see around the lake.
