Amazon Rambo is the real deal when it comes to tour operators. Unless you are the real deal adventurist, it's best to look elsewhere. What you will get from him is someone who grew up in the Amazon and calls it home. His networks is a system of friends that he has grown up with and they know the jungle... More

We booked a trip with Rambo after reviewing his TripAdvisor ratings. He offered us a 4 days 3 nights trip for USD$130 per person per day. Since that is a considerably long time in the jungle we insisted he send us the details of the itinerary and the accommodations. In the accommodations he promised a lodge. From my understanding, a... The amazon rainforest is as vast in space and area as it is in the mind and the soyl. It is a must for everybody who wants to understand nature, and a very good way to understand oneself as well. The vastness, the divergence, the amazing plants' animals and people transform you - for the better. It is a real... More

NOTE: This tour is not for the faint hearted or people looking for some kind of luxury tour, if that's what you want there are other very commercial companies around. If you are looking for an authentic and genuine jungle experience Amazon Rambo is the only company in Manaus to go with! I found Amazon Rambo here on Tripadvisor. I... More

A trip through the Amazon was one of the activities we wanted to experience. We contacted "Rambo" due to the great reviews that were posted on tripadvisor. He sent us an itinerary for... More

Firstly, I was drawn to Aguia Amazonas, as they were recommended in the Footprint travel guide. So I found the website and contacted Antonio. As we were travelling in Brazil during the World Cup we had very specific days that we could do a tour and there was obviously a lot we wanted to see. After a few emails back... More

We only had 2 days and 1 night with Rambo, but we experienced a lot - piranha fishing, swimming with pink dolphins, cayman catching, sloth selfies. The one night we stayed, Rambo took us to his place in the jungle and prepared a terrific meal, complete with capirinhas. We met a lot of good people and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Rambo... More

Planning: I decided to plan my trip to Manaus and explore the Amazon Forest with the help of a professional. I planned this trip 3 months in advance and decided to select Rambo as the best reviewed tour in Tripadvisor. I contacted Rambo via email and exchanged many emails in which he sent me an itinerary for 4 days and... More
