I spent a day on Saunders in January 2008 & it was one of the most memorable days of my life! Our helicopter landed on the "neck" & after a downhill trek we found the most beautiful beach, packed with penguins. The Island is home to large colonies of Gentoo, Magellanic & Rockhopper Penguins, none of which are fazed by... more

The wildlife of this island is wonderful, but beware about the price. It is very expensive for a very low standing. You go there to see wildlife, and it is the only thing you got. The price change one day to another, from 20£ (per person) when we phone to 30£ when we arrive for staying in the farm... The... more
