Home-baking and delicious local flavours are served with live music in the Sea Cabbage Café. The Museum tells the story of Bluff Cove. After seeing quite literally tens of thousands of penguins on our trip through Antarctica and South Georgia, Bluff Cove Lagoon still had more than enough to offer. The penguins are in a very different setting: next to a white beach on gently rolling soft ground with only the waves on the shore to disturb the peace. Gentoos abound, and there... More

I loved my trip to Bluff Cove - first was an exciting 4x4 trip cross country and then the adorable peguins. You can get really close to the colony, though there are wardens to prevent you actually picking them up! The Sea Cabbage Cafe served delicious tea and cakes all with fresh local ingredients and then, completely stuffed, we just... More

This trip was one of the highlights of our South America and Antarctica cruise. A bus takes you from Stanley out to where the unpaved road runs out and you have to switch to 4WD vehicles. You then have a 30 minute trip over the peat bogs (exceptionally bumpy and not for anyone with back problems) in the company of... More

This day trip had everything that a Falklands experience should - penguins, 4WD, glorious white-sand beaches and friendly local hospitality. The owner, Hattie, cookes up the most amazing spread of treats including diddle-dee jam scones. Check out the new museum which is extremely informative. More

Gentoo, Magellanic and King penguins...the Bluff Cove Museum....the lagoon.....the possibility of seeing sea lions and dolphins at the surf beach.....included in the tour was a visit to the Sea Cabbage Cafe for...
