We had been to most of the attractions in Singapore, and decided to take a boat tour. Big mistake! Should have taken the boat tour first. It is a great way to get oriented. There is a comprehensive video commentary running during the one hour cruise, which not only points out the places of interest but gives a bit of... More

We went on this tour after the 'Ducktour' and while some of the river sights were different the majority of the tour was in Marina Bay. This was a shame as we had already seen it comprehensively on the other tour. If you don't wish to 'double up' on quite a lot I would recommend saving your money and do... More

A recent ship's excursion in Singapore provided us with an opportunity to ride one of the bumboats. We boarded the boat at Clarke Quay. Although a warm and sunny day, we opted to sit on the uncovered rear of the boat for the best views and photo-taking. We enjoyed seeing all the sights along the river during our 1/2 hour... More

Doing the river cruise is quite an experience I must say, especially at night. Starting from the financial Centre to Marina South at one end to Roberson Quay at the other end and finish in front of the Fullerton Hotel. This is one cruise you must not miss.

We had two trips on the bumboats, both were excellent. The first was an "out and back" journey that was very long and very enjoyable. However we must have had a beginner on the video!! Would recommend it as the perfect end to an excellent afternoon or evening. The second was a one way trip after a very poor and... More

The trip was ok. Inside the boat a recording about the history of the city plays on a tv which was nice. Nothing amazing. Was relaxing. Nothing you cant see by walking a bit around - but for the lazy or someone with limited time in singapore it's a great way to see the city.

The Bumboat takes you through Sinagpore, you can just sit down, relax and chill while having views of the long skyscrapers of Singapore.

There are multiple spots along the Singapore river and Marina Bay that you can hop on these funny little boats. Keep in mind, that hopping off and back is not allowed. We started from the Clarke Quay and it took some 35 minutes to go round the Marina Bay and back. The Marina Bay looks stunning at night with the... More

Visited this place with my friends and tried taking river taxi from central to raffles place was quoted 10$/person for one way trip and staff was extremely rude in answering ... When I said that it was suppose to be only 3$/person the attitude of the staff become worse... And was told will have to wait for at least 50... More

We left our cruise ship and drove to Clarke Quay where we embarked on a riverboat for a 30 minute cruise along the Singapore River. Along the way, we passed beautifully restored knock-downs that stand in contrast to the modern skyscrapers of the Financial District, Colonial buildings and the iconic Merlion Statue. There's commentary along the way, easy to hear... More
