Visited this place with my friends and tried taking river taxi from central to raffles place was quoted 10$/person for one way trip and staff was extremely rude in answering ... When I said that it was suppose to be only 3$/person the attitude of the staff become worse... And was told will have to wait for at least 50... More

We left our cruise ship and drove to Clarke Quay where we embarked on a riverboat for a 30 minute cruise along the Singapore River. Along the way, we passed beautifully restored knock-downs that stand in contrast to the modern skyscrapers of the Financial District, Colonial buildings and the iconic Merlion Statue. There's commentary along the way, easy to hear... More

Both a staff in kiosk and boat crews were horrible. The crew was always playing games with his mobile phone and didn't understand English well. So it was not easy to stop where I wanted to leave. Although the boat departures every 20 mins, it's not allowed to get on-board again. It would be better if I could get off... More

A good way to see city from the river on a short boat trip. We left from the Merlion, went round the bay then up river to Clarke Quay and back. There was a commentary pointing out interesting facts along the way. In all a pleasant 40 mins or so.

We used the Bumboat as a water taxi ($15 from Clark Quay to Marina Bay Sands). Comfortable bench seats in the open back of the boat provided incredible views. The commentary was surprisingly good - very interesting and definitely enhanced the experience.

After having bad experience for 2nd time I think a review makes sense. We made the tour in the late afternoon to enjoy a relaxed boat ride on Singapore river. Unfortunately this did not work as expected: 1. Boarding at Singapore Flyer we had to wait for 30 minutes. No information available when a boat will arrive. 2 boats of... More

This trip on the river was quite pleasant, but nothing special. We did not get 40 minutes, as was advertised. Not sure it was worth SIN$22 each.

The bumboat tour is great, the boats are quiet (electric) and reasonably comfortable. We paid extra to be able to hop-on/hop-off the river taxis too but when it came to calling one it was a 20 minute wait so we didn't bother. But the tour itself is good and fair value.

We did a trip at night on our final day in Singapore. It was great to see everything lit up from the river and a lovely end to our holiday. Would thoroughly recommend.

The cruise around the river foreshore gives you a better level of experience than you might get from the Flyer.Whereas the Flyer gives great arial views the Bumboats give you a close up of same plus a commentary .We went daytime but the cruises go day and night. You can also arrange a dinner night on one as well.We had a...
