Not much to do here other that just wander around. No major changes even after years of existence. It would be better if they spruced it up

A very bizarre experience! It is a long way out and there's not a whole lot to it. It was interesting to see how the Government is trying so hard to promote cultural harmony. It is also interesting how seriously they take the defence of Singapore even after a long period of peace.

I don,t like Cities as far as Cities go but i really like Singapore City for its street art & its local food, you can spend alot of money eating and drinking in Singapore or you follow the locals and eat were the locals eat its up to and your budget. Northbridge Road & Little India offer many free attractions... More

The vibe of this place was not as exciting as its name suggest. The exhibits were quite outdated and the interactive stations were not very responsive. This place needs some revamping to live up to its name. Though its free entry for Singaporeans and PRs, i dont think i'll visit again. Not recommended for tourist.

I visited SDC on the National Day weekend with my wife and 16 month old boy. Its free for locals. My wife was impressed with the very interactive exhibits....good fun for our boy. Felt that there was a good deal to learn for locals about our country from the exhibits....but the journey there alone would make it not worthwhile for... More

I really thought it was a waste to travel all the way to Joo Koon from Pasir Ris. 1st disappointment in Singapore. The attractions were simple and quite boring. Too many illustrations until I don't bother reading them, hmm maybe because Malaysian culture is similar to Singapore?! The 3D movie was *snores.. Yes, I actually slept through the short film... The purpose of the centre is to show young Singaporeans their place in protecting their country, and it does this quite well. Foreigners will find little to interest them. The bus tour was quite good for us. However incredibly half the bus windows were blocked by advertisements for the Centre, so we were lucky to have seats with good views.... More

I went to Discovery this week with a friend and his 6 year old son. It was a hot day and we wished we'd brought swimmers for the little fella as the water park looked good fun. The centre itself isn't huge, but seeing it through the eyes of a 6 year old really brought the place to life. The... More
