Well worth a visit to the gardens both during the day and at night. So much to see, wheelchair friendly.

So taking a teenage family around gardens doesn't sound like it would get much interest....but this place generally does. Its the sheer scale of things and the range of ways you can explore. Plus the air conditioned domes are a welcome break from the SIngapore humidity.

I'm not much of a garden person but suggest you set aside time in Singapore to visit the Gardens by the Bay. Very well designed and put together, and right next to Marina Bay Sands.

This was an unique experience, a very beautiful man-made garden. The super trees were very cool and it was like entering Avatar world. There's a light show start at 7PM.

There is nothing not to like about Gardens at the Bay. You need a couple of hours for the waterfall glasshouse alone. The architecture, horticulture, views ... everything is amazing.

The technical expertise required to build the foundation for these gardens is unbelievable. The gardens themselves are beautiful and need to be seen at night (with the lighting on) and during the day when the domes are open for viewing. The gardens are free to visit but there is an entry fee to view the gardens in the domes.

This is a MUST-SEE when visiting Singapore and is one of my favourite experiences there. Unbelievably, the outdoor garden and its famed SuperTrees (including the Sound and Light Show) are free to visit! It costs only $5 SGD to walk the canopy between the SuperTrees for about 15 minutes. I believe there is a show at 7:45PM and at 8:45PM... More

We visited at dusk to watch the light display on the trees. Amazing. Buildings are like something from a future time. And the gardens are beautiful and expertly maintained. Definitely worth a look.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
