You can get here easily using the MRT. It is a good idea to take the electric trolley service which takes you to the front of the gardens because it is otherwise a fair walk. There is small fee (1 or 2 SGD) but it brings you back too, if you are able to finish by 1745 hours. Entry is... More

Great day at the Gardens by the Bay, must do the tree top walk, amazing views from there. Sculptures around the gardens are stunning. Take your time going around the large glass domes so much to see. Fabulous indoor waterfall. Great food court, children's area. Just a great day out.

I went to Gardens by the Bay quite skeptical of what it was going to be like. My friends and I ended up having a really great time and there are a lot of different walkways and the domes and plants were amazing! I would recommend this to anyone visiting or anyone who loves plants or flowers!

You can spend 2 hours there without getting into to costly dooms. There are many attractions to cover before entering the paid attractions - many gardens, food area, light and music show (at 7:45 pm), perfect locations for pictures

This man made attraction.. I have watched going up over the past few years when travelling.. finally it has been completed so I went to have a look. Absolutely spectacular and fascinating. A Good learning experience for kids and great place to walk through. Can be done cheaply if you are happy just walking through gardens, or a little more... More

One night we attended the two Supertree light shows (no charge) - viewed 7.45pm show from viewing platform at entrance from Bayfront MRT. Then watched 8.45pm show from the ground under the Supertrees. Incredible - the music was great too. Another day, visited the Flower Dome (Tulipmania Show was spectacular) had lunch, then went through the Cloud Forest. Loved both... More

We were the people who, despite reading reviews to avoid the afternoon heat stroke at all costs, went right smack in the middle of the afternoon. But despite nearly drowning in the humidity, the gardens are truly stunning and definitely worth a visit if you're in Singapore. There is plenty to explore that's free, tons of gardens with exotic everything,... More

You've got to go here as truly amazing. Quite a long walk from MTR station, although buggies available once you leave the rather long walkway from the station. Maybe closer from the bus station. Gets hot and sweaty walking around so be warned, or take a buggy tour. Allow a half day at least.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
