The light show starts around 8 pm and is the most popular time to visit. The last lift to the top walk is around 8.30pm. We arrived at 6.30 pm, queued for our ticket, then lined up to catch the lift to the top. Our turn came at 8pm. The view is great, and the light show from the walk... More

Whether it is with your partner, family or friends, ensure you take the time to stroll through Gardens by the Bay when you visit Singapore - although you'll need to be prepared to battle the unsavoury humidity levels! The whole area itself is open and vast and consist of a diverse range of flowers/plants from different countries. You may find... More

This site looks fantastic especially when lit up at night. There is a free garden you can visit but also the Sky Walk, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. Be warned that on some days one or the other is closed for maintenance. So please check 1st. I'd recommend the Cloud Forest and the Sky Walk (Flower Dome disappointing)

The Gardens by the Bay were a worthwhile afternoon venue. The cloud forest was a lot of fun. The flower greenhouse was colorful and contained interesting regional exhibits. Overall, well worth the investment of time and money.

Never seen anything like it. Wonderful complex of tropical gardens, water and open spaces and striking architecture on a grand scale. Fabulous children's garden. Bring the kids' swimmers as it includes an excellent water play area for children to cool off. A great free activity for families.

I recommend going in the late afternoon/evening, there is a lot to see even if you're not into gardens. Worth the fee to visit the greenhouse domes. Sky bridge also worthy of the fee. Must do is the light show, which is free! The music and timing of the lights and effects is brilliant! Put it on your list!

Easy to get to, just 10 minute subway ride from Civic Center. Take MRT to Bayfront Station, follow signs through underground tunnel and exit outside. You can take shuttle (paid) to and through gardens to the two conservatories or you can walk through the outdoor gardens (free) to the conservatories. I paid the $28 to enter the two large greenhouses,... More

We were here during the Singapore fifty years celebration. The evening light show was spectacular. My daughter loved the colors and the trees.. it's quite a romantic place as we saw a couple of newly married couples getting their wedding pics clicked. If you like plats there is a huge variety to explore... if not just enjoy the light show...

Visited both yhe cloud forest and flower forest. I really like the cloud forest and the cool walkways in the sky. Both were aircon or very cool inside which helps from the heat outside. Thumbs up.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
