Owner description: "Situated in the Civic District close to historic and tourist sites, Raffles City Shopping Centre is a haven for consumers looking for luxury items. Built on the site of a former school (Raffles Institution), Raffles City is downtown shopping at its finest. The mall has a number of luxury and designer stores such as Omega, Thomas Sabo, Cortefiel and Tommy Hilfiger, among others. Here, you’ll also find big department stores like Marks & Spencer and Robinsons, and fashion chains like Topshop, River Island and Skyla. In fact, Raffles City covers most shopping bases with fashion, books, music, sports, toys, eyewear and beauty all available above the City Hall MRT station, which makes getting here all the more convenient. This mall is very convenient for those staying at the Fairmont or Swissotel. You don’t have to go outside! It’s air-conditioned. It’s got everything. If you’re a shopper, there’s a lot of very nice high end stores. They have several ATM machines (Citibank is one). There are restaurants and there’s a food court with lots of choices. It has a... There was something about this mall that lacks otherwise elsewhere. The mall is interestingly laid out. The basement has some very very colorful and interesting bakery shops that sell amazing stuff. You will find art and craft shops too which we hardly get to see here in India. I freaked out at this store really. Lovely stuff, great collection and... More

We ended up in Raffles City Shopping Centre by getting out the MRT station City Hall. Had a look around, many global brands, very few Asian designers. Nice building, an okay selection of shops. Its perk comes with the fact it's located within the vicinity of the cathedral and some other historic buildings.

We went to this shopping centre because my partner needed a doctor and there is the Raffles Medical Group in this centre. Cannot recommend them highly enough... they were courteous, gave us an appt very quickly and the charge was fair. But that aside, we obviously spent time in the shopping centre itself and I was not disappointed at the... More

You'll find lots of British shops like marks and spencers and top shop. Not a great selection to choose from. Basement full of so many food stalls. Don't expect them to open early though Most shops open from 10.30am. Easy to get lost in but close to the train stations. If you fancy a bite to eat that's cheap. Supermarket... More

This mall is ok although a bit awkwardly laid out. If you like shopping my suggestion is to go to the shoppes at marina bay sands. It's a huge complex and there are other things to do there like the art and science museum and light show at night. Tip There is a Starbucks in first floor near entrance and... More

Typical medium-high end mall at the edge of downtown. It doesn't have the premium brands like Prada or Gucci, but holds its own with an art gallery and linked to 2 hotels. The Jaan restaurant in the hotel is very good

This is one of Singapore's older and more established malls, renovated fairly recently. I like it as it tends to be less crowded than some of the other malls, and it's very close to the City Hall MRT and a short walk to SunTec and Marina Square. Plenty of places to eat in the basement.
