Description: "Situated in the Civic District close to historic and tourist sites...
"Situated in the Civic District close to historic and tourist sites, Raffles City Shopping Centre is a haven for consumers looking for luxury items. Built on the site of a former school (Raffles Institution), Raffles City is downtown shopping at its finest. The mall has a number of luxury and designer stores such as Omega, Thomas Sabo, Cortefiel and Tommy Hilfiger, among others. Here, you’ll also find big department stores like Marks & Spencer and Robinsons, and fashion chains like Topshop, River Island and Skyla. In fact, Raffles City covers most shopping bases with fashion, books, music, sports, toys, eyewear and beauty all available above the City Hall MRT station, which makes getting here all the more convenient. I was here with my daughter and after 2hrs of solid shopping we decided to return to the hotel. A simple task one would have thought but the shopping centre is so large i could not remember which exit i needed to use. I finally had ti admit i was lost and had to ask a friendly local for help.... More

Fell in love with this place. It is just below the Fairmont and Swissotel. There is supermarket, pharmacy, shops selling knic-nacks, party goods, cards. The food court at the basement offers varieties of food choices. There are also tons of shoes stores!!!! There is a Robinson if you are in for shops with a bit of everything. What I did... More

Didn't like the variety of shop here. Although the food court is nice and also the sushi at the super market very cheap and tasty. Also Starbucks here is big with good WiFi.

The food court was very varied in terms of options, which was great. We opted for a falafel in the end. We did have a quick browse around the shops but nothing much to note.

Lots of high end shops in this comfortable, stylish and air-conditioned shopping centre. I really liked the basement area with some lovely restaurants and cafes selling food at reasonable prices. Also some great shops in the basement selling products I haven't seen back home, such as funky costume jewellery, stationery and aromatherapy products. Definitely worth a visit!

This mall is very convenient for those staying at the Fairmont or Swissotel. You don’t have to go outside! It’s air-conditioned. It’s got everything. If you’re a shopper, there’s a lot of very nice high end stores. They have several ATM machines (Citibank is one). There are restaurants and there’s a food court with lots of choices. It has a... There was something about this mall that lacks otherwise elsewhere. The mall is interestingly laid out. The basement has some very very colorful and interesting bakery shops that sell amazing stuff. You will find art and craft shops too which we hardly get to see here in India. I freaked out at this store really. Lovely stuff, great collection and... More

We ended up in Raffles City Shopping Centre by getting out the MRT station City Hall. Had a look around, many global brands, very few Asian designers. Nice building, an okay selection of shops. Its perk comes with the fact it's located within the vicinity of the cathedral and some other historic buildings.
