We had a lobster roll ($68++) a fish dish ($73++) and a beer totalling more $202 dollars, and the food is not that great either, we know Singapore is expensive, but this was crazy rich pricing for bad food

Our hotel was nearby, so we spent every evening strolling the promenade. It was a relief to get a break from the sun and take in the breeze from the bay.
There are shows every night at 8 and 9pm. We found it quite comfortable to attend the SuperTree 7:45 show and the 9pm promenade show. No rush, which is our goal when on vacation.
Pictures are gorgeous from all locations.

Having heard so much of the Marina Bay waterfront and the evening Sound & Light show there, we were keen to not miss it this time around, while in Singapore. The waterfront was truly colourful with the row of lights alongside the Fullerton Hotel complex showing off the tall office blocks of the CBD area on one side and the Singapore Merlion on the other. The 20 minute Sound & Light show though was less impressive than one had expected. Drawing on a laser display from the towering Marina Bay Sands Hotel the show while colourful, lacked an impressive central focal point! It was pleasant though weather wise at the waterfront.

I've enjoyed my regular walks around the Marina Bay waterfront during the extended lockdown in Singapore. Great views out over the water and the city beyond, and less people around than usual.

Beautiful waterfront well worth visit both during daytime and evening where you get a different perspective of the waterfront.
Unfortunately when we were there the evening light show was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

At night it’s beautiful. Light show is very good. Very busy as lots of restaurants and bars. Families and individuals take advantage of great photo shoot so be prepared!

The waterfront at Clark Quay is like nothing else on earth. Made famous in "Crazy Rich Asians," the view of the towers with the ship atop is awesome to see in person. Also this area is the "hot spot" of nightlife in Singapore. So much energy and Vibe. a great place to spend the evening.

We come here every day for a walk along the river walk.
Such a nice break from the hustle of the city. So much to see and explore. best part of the city.

Is the light show at Marina Bay at 8pm visible from the Skypark Observation Deck? Thank you.

Yes and you should be able to see the 'super trees' from there too. We did get charged 20 dollars each to go on the observation deck, but you can put that towards the cost of a drink. We watched from the ground floor outside at the back. it was spectaular - although we did get slight wet, it was amazing.

Hi, is it better to watch the light show from outside the casino back towards the Fullerton Hotel or from the Fullerton hotel looking out towards the casino side?

You want to be watching the show from the back of the mall and casino and looking toward the Fullerton Hotel. The show literally takes place right there. To be honest there are no bad seats to view the show.

What time is the light and sound show? When is the best time to visit this place?

Light show is at eight and nine - but be sure to visit during the day. The shock of seeing a suspended ship atop three futuristic towers with the blue sky atop it is worth seeing.

just back from Singapore 3day break and Clarke Quay and the marina bay (hotel) aren't actually in the same area so not sure why people have said they are. Clark Quay is more in land and is a little cheesy selection of bars and restaurants. The waterfront promenade is about 20mins walk from Clarke Quay and then to walk to marina bay (hotel/shops etc) this is another good 20/25 min walk from the promenade (where the theatre is).. if you have a few hours you can walk and see everything but they aren't that near and it it a good 45 min walk from the Quay to MBS

How far is this attraction from where the cruise ship docks

I'm not sure of the exact distance but it's not far. There are many buses, the metro and cars that can take you. I would say it would take less than half hour by metro.

Not exactly sure how far. Probably best to take a taxi as they are reliable and not too expensive particulalry in the intense tropical heat.
