good service, comfortable seats and the prices for beer and other snacks are ok. the ferry starts boarding 20 min before departure but be sure to be there at least 45 min before (in the confirmation ticket it says 1 hour 30 before). great way to start a weekend getaway. MIgration good.

I used this ferry to visit Nirawana Gardens and it was the best. You have to arrive at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal about 45 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to go through Customs and security so make sure you have your passport. Once on the boat it is a quick 50 minute ride, which is very... More

Cheap, fast and efficient. Great way to escape Singapore.....however. Port authorities saw fit to take all my ecigs. Even though they were fine when I disclosed them at Changi on the way in? Yup all fine they said. Was fine going to Bintan as well, but on return they were seized? So cancer sticks are fine...just don't try the healthy... More

When we first boarded the ferry it was shaking like anything due to sea water. But once we started our journey it was all smooth. These ferries are closed and safe for kids. Make sure you reach early to get nice seat in the ferry as the seat allotment is not done at counter. It is 1 hr journey to... More

this is the only regular, scheduled ferry service from Lagoi, Bintan to Singapore (unless you are going to Bintan Lagoon resort which have their own ferry terminal). booking online is easy. ticket prices varies on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. take note that the sea could be quite choppy during Nov to March due to the monsoon. yes, visa (fee... This is a convenient way to get from Singapore to Bintan. It has 2 classes, economy and Emerald.20 SD more expensive but better for sure. They give you a lounge to wait but screaming kids can make you want to escape. The luggage check in and customs and immigration is a bit much for an 55 minute journey but its... More

The entry visa into Bintan Island is payable in $US or $Singapore. They don't accept US$1 bills. They provide change in whichever currency you used.

This was a well run service with both trips leaving exactly on time. The ferry was clean and the drink and snack prices were cheap. We went economy and it was perfect would not bother with the upgrade for a 45 minute ride.

If you are looking for a fuss-free and easy transport to Bintan, you can hop into this ferry which will bring you from Tanah Merah in the East of Singapore to Bintan in about an hour. The freey is air conditioned. But if you want to have sea breeze blowing into your hair, do go onto the upper deck where... More

Ferry tickets must be booked beforehand through their website. Ferry is very bore, its totally closed and you can not go outside and roam around the deck unlike ferries of other countries. They have given a lot of information about the visa fee etc. When you reach there, you realise that they can ask anything from you. I was carrying... More
