Thank you Samia for a fantastic morning learning the art of Thai cooking and then tasting the products at the end. So many useful tips and yummy recipes to try at home. A really entertaining and fun experience. Well worth a visit. Lisa

We were welcomed with a very nice coffee, offered a shawl to keep our shoulders warm as we watched Samia cook 8 delicious recipes, as the air conditioning is very efficient. Samia is happy to answer any questions and she explained everything very well and made the whole experience very entertaining. We all enjoyed eating the magnificent feast for our... More

A perfect end to a girlie 5 days in Singapore. We had shopped & toured and were soooo ready to sit, learn new recipes and eat an excellent lunch. Well done Samia, you have mastered the art of passing on your considerable knowledge to amateurs. Hilary

I was flying in to Singapore very early in the morning so no hotel until later....so taxi took me straight to a morning class...Singapore Classics! I was greeted warmly by Eddie and introduced to all the other participants....mainly german....sadly they chatted the whole time in their mother tongue...not a problem for me but I felt a bit sad for the... We found the demonstration most enjoyable as well as an excellent introduction to some local specialties. It was really helpful to see the brands and details of the ingredients and the names of similar products to source at home in Australia. The recipe book provided was clear and encouraged us to try the recipes ourselves. Despite the fact that it... More

We all had a fabulous time, Samia was just brilliant, the food exquisite and the service outstanding. The communication from initial inquiry to booking was detailed and welcoming. The people at Corriander are all highly skilled and they worked hard to make the cooking class an experience to remember. I loved the way we ate some of the meals at... More

i am sad to say i had a terrible experience after everyone has had such lovely reviews. samia had a different assistant today and was absolutely horrible and degrading to him the whole time - the angst made for a very unenjoyable environment. the food was great though.

I attended a cooking class with a close friend who also loves to cook. It was not hands on, but I still think I learned more watching and talking with the chef than I would have hands on! We learned great techniques and tasted everything. I have taken many cooking classes and this has by far been my favorite one.

We had dinner at Coriander Leaf when we saw that they also offer cooking classes. It was very spontaneous but we could join the cooking class the next day. The cook arrived a bit hungover but she was very good in explaining everything and encouraged everyone to ask questions. Even though we could see everything well, there was also a... More

While transiting in Singapore I wanted to do something different so booked onto Coriander Leaf's cooking class - in my case on Vietnamese cuisine. The course was taught by Samia, ably assisted by Eddie. I've always loved Vietnamese food, and came away from the course knowing much more about the cooking of this country, some great recipes to impress my... More
