Wine pric ey ($80-100 a bottle) with a beer at $14. Aircon was so cold we went outside to warm up. Food is OK but tending to the "large plate with half of it covered in decorative sauce - the type you feel you needto eat again in an hour), Fish was, however, very good and fresh although due to... If you like fried food and stale bread ($7 a go) then this s the place for you. Other food we tried was ok, but the staff clearly knew the food was poor and so didn't even bother to ask...

We went to the Double Bay on our first night in Singapore as it was close to our hotel (Mandarin Marina). I had the fish and chips and I have to admit that they were some of the best that I have ever had (I have been to the chippy in Anstruther (Scotland) a number of times so I know... More

We have visited this restaurant 3 times during our stay in Singapore and we are really impressed. The staff are extremely helpful and can easily answer questions about the menu and types of foods. We have ordered various dishes from oysters, fish and chops to Australian meat pie and found them all very tasty. Bearing in mind that this area... More

The slowest service ever. We have been waiting for 30mins for the appetizer. Fried calamari is awful.Too much batter and too oily! We have been waiting for one hour for the main course. In the end we canceled it. We have totally wasted one hour there!! Very poor customer service. The manager didn't even come to apologize (we were sitting... More

Extremely slow service! We have been waiting for 30 mins for the apertizer and after 45 mins, we still haven't got our main course!! The waiter explained that there is a big group in the restaurant, which is nonsense because it's not even full house and should be able to cater to a semi full house efficiently. Rubbish! We left.

Double Bay Australian Bar at Raffles City is so bad, I do not know where to begin. I shall illustrate my points below: 1) Service Slow, shoddy, waitressing staff keeps forgetting orders. Our bread board order was forgotten, and in the end, we got our bread together with our main course, the fish and chips. The table next to us... More
