My computer had to be repaired and I was recommended to go to Sim Lim Square to get it rep aired. The computer could not get repaired due to I had got Soda Water into computer by accident. // I needed a computer, and the Repair Shop on level 6, helped me and installed all what I needed very fast.... I am local and I have to say finding a decent shop is difficult. If you really must buy something go to the higher shops, and those with some rating. Let me relate 2 experiences I had from "popular" shops. Visited this shop, ComLab. Now to be fair I had fixed my computer there before, and thought it was a... More

First and foremost I'm an IT guy meaning I know most of the stuff here. I got some routers at a good price, however I also got ripped off a bad functioning tablet. My fault for not thoroughly check the device. In my defense, I'm too hungry to check :(. Lesson learned, never shop with empty stomach, and no matter... More

Hi, I have been shopping at Sim Lim Square for many many years. The shops that ripped people off are those at the first two levels where there are hardly any shoppers. The upper level shops from 3th to top level are full of locals. This is where you want to go. Ask around for the price, do your research... More

This place is full of cheaters !! If it is cheap, most probably its fake. Or else, the shops will charge you an arm and a leg for genuine products. Go only if you know your Kung Fu, because you will need that when they lock the doors when you refused to pay up.

Please beware of shopping here especially at the first 2 levels. Some shops advertise very low prices but then refuse to hand over the goods AFTER you have paid the advertised sum if you dont pay a further large sum (which they call an "activation fee" or "warranty"). It is pure daylight robbery and even the police cant help you... More

avoid at all cost, be it the whole Singapore earthquake, leaving only this building, do not even stand outside main entrance. It has the ultimate ability of sucking every single cent of your wallet, leaving the place empty handed, anger and helpless

Sim Lim Square, or SLS for short is a place to get your computer parts and accessories at a good price. However, I STRONGLY advise shoppers, be it locals or tourists, to do their homework extensively before buying anything from there due to the higher number of scammers setting their shops there. My friends and I had been shopping at... More
