Mostly shops on Lvl 1 to lvl 2 are cheats. Lvl 3 stuff maybe more ex. Lvl 4-6, better check prices n stuff carefully. Not a place for people who don't "do your homework".

A pathetic experience at this shop. I went to Buy a Nexus 5. Initially the shopkeeper told me the offer price is 380$. Then later i returned and confirmed again about the price and since it was that cheap I decided to Buy it. While paying for it he asked me to pay 300$ extra for the promotional software package... There may be some stalls that sell good buys but be very careful because there are lots of cheaters in sim lim. If you're not really an expert in electronics better go to Best or Challenger or Harvey Norman.

Beware of this shop at Sim Lim and all others that cheat in the name of business. They will offer you a price way lower than official price for a phone, collect money and get your passport details, so that you think the transaction is almost complete. Then the salesman will come to you and say you have to 'unlock'... More

this place have nothing nice to say . It is a epitome symbol of how most things in that country is hyped and marketed to the outside world. When I stepped into Singapore I had a different opinion now I have the total opposite opinion. This place embodies very much the whole Singapore con city .

Sim Lim Square is a must visit venue for all travelers to Singapore. You name it, they have it. I spent over $1000 USD on items here including an action camera and microsds to name a few. My only complaints are that the escalators are low and elevator is not really that frequent. When compared to Low Yat Plaza, I... More

I'm a Singaporean and my advise to you is to avoid this place like a plague ridden corpse. But if you absolutely need your IT fix, go with a Singaporean who knows the place inside out and knows which store to go to. Be prepared to walk away from a deal even midway through negotiations if your spidey sense is... More

This place used to be a great place to buy the latest electronic gadgets. It's lost it's genuine electronic status and now is more a retail hell with everyone selling the same old thing, and little opportunity to find that hard to get gadget that you really want. Try getting a PCI dual LAN card .... better off going to... More

Sim Lim Square and to a certain extent, Funan IT Mall has a reputation among Singaporeans as the place to go to for second hand items or to avoid altogether. There are horror stories on Sgforum.com which rings a similar pattern to the Bangkok gem scam. I bought a set of headphones from Song Brothers on the ground floor and... More
