I went there alone for a coffee and a couple of cigars. Just can say I was not expecting the place be this awesome.

This may be a very good place, but today I just wanted to see what was the Olde Cuban about since I am Cuban, but after opening the door, the guy inside in a very rude manner told me that this was a club for members only. Just the very unfriendly way he treated me made my night very sad.... More

The Olde Cuban or OC (to regulars) appears to grow from strength to strength. When I last visited it, it was on the second floor above the zhi char stall. Now the second floor is the retail arm, leaving the third and fourth as the place to unwind. From the usual brands to some rare drams, this place has it... More

This is an amazing place for cigars and scotch. They also have a few rare whisekys that are definitely worth trying.

I was introduced to The Olde Cuban "or OC as it is affectionately known by regulars there" by my close friends who are cigars aficionados. We went to the 4th floor of the premises which I was told was reserved for regulars and VIPs only. First impressions was good! Comfy leather chairs, Old world décor, Wide range of cigars and... Came here after seeing on TripAdvisor for a bit of a lark expecting the worst on cost. I'm no cigar aficionado so I was able to enjoy a decent enough smoke for $40 but there were plenty cheaper if you're just looking for a nice experience in a great location looking onto Chinatown and the business skyline. Fair enough: drinks... More

Found this place on the net when I was looking for a place to smoke a cigar and have a drink in Singapore. The place is a little difficult to find but once found you will not regret it. Staff are friendly and the price is slightly on the high side but for me who smokes only overseas its perfect.

I have to say I find the 'terrible' reviews of this place rather odd to say the least. Yes prices are fairly high but it is Singapore and that is the norm for these kind of products. The place is extremely well run, yes the English of some of the staff is not perfect but just a modicum of patience... More

I found this bar quite by accident and have returned many times. Excellent wine selection & tasty food. A calm and friendly atmosphere. You'll meet all kinds of people from locals to tourists. Highlt recommended for a good time.

This is the most expensive cigar bar I have ever been in, and it is in China Town!. My wife and I had a few drinks, a cigar each and a small dinner. Cost over 400 SGD. A shot of makers mark is $25 SGD... one shot! A $17 Cuban cost over $60-$70 here. almost laughable. On the up side,... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
