Have already been three times to Ruqxana's cooking class. Each time a different Asian menu and a different group of students. All I can say is that she's a true perfectionist and loves cooking with all her soul. She divides the students in small groups so you have the opportunity both to watch the others and experience it hands on... More

Pleasant trip to a private home in a nearby good suburb. We found the instructor Ruxqana very nice and knowledgeable. Our lesson was at a basic level and those experienced in cooking may need to pick more sophisticated dishes deliberately from her options on the website. The food prepared was made available for lunch after the class. Overall a unique... More

This fantastic class with Ruqxana is really something unique. It introduced us to an amazing range of native herbs that we collected from the jungle itself and the garden around an authentic kampong house that has been there for more than a hundred years. Pulau Ubin is perhaps the last place to see this side of Singapore's history. We made... More

I've just come back from a cookery class at Cookery Magic. A really enjoyable and informative experience. Our host was great. You learn to cook in a neighborhood home in an outside kitchen. It feels like you're really seeing local Singapore. We learnt to cook marinated chicken skewers, satay sauce, and laksa. I will definitely be cooking this at home.... More

What a wonderful experience it was having a hands on cooking class with Ruqxana of Cookery Magic in Singapore! I had been a little unsure about the menu we were cooking as the dishes were unfamiliar to me. I must say I'm really pleased as I really loved the meals and they were something I would not have discovered on... More

I just spent a wonderful 3 hours in the home of Ruqxana, who introduced me and 4 others to the magic of Malay cooking in her own home. A magic blend of professionalism, great knowledge, sound sense of organisation, secret cooking tips and friendly atmosphere. I learned 3 dishes which I will easily be able to do on my own,... More

I had the pleasure of attending two of Ruqxana's cooking classes and I highly recommend them. The classes are set in a home environment and it is a "hands on" class. Even though some who attended were novices, all of us turned out good dishes, that is certainly attributed to the excellent teaching and demonstration. The classes are also a... More

It was a fun session for or small team together together and cook our own meal. We did Nyonya cooking, recipes was good. And Ruuxana share with us some great cooking tips. but somehow I feel she looks so tired and all tensed up the whole afternoon, like we're rushing to finish a race.

This was the second time I was at Ruqxana's cooking class and again I truly enjoyed it! First time was on open subscription, I came together with my husband, we joined 5 others, learned all the tricks and got to know the other participants too. Recently we were with a business group incl some spouses, and again it worked very... More

My husband, friends and I had a blast this past weekend when we signed up for a private cooking class at Cookery Magic. This was my second class with Ruqxana, who teaches from her home kitchen, and it was as much fun and educational as the first. Because of the hands-on nature of the class and her talent for explaining... More
