This is my second visit to Cookery Magic and I have enjoyed and learnt a lot both times. Today was taught how to do Chill Prawn (Chilli Crab was an option but my wife is allergic to crab), Char Kway Tiao and Onde Onde. Started with Onde Onde, with a melt-in-your mouth experience. The chilli prawn was a stand-out and... More

we have done cooking classes in Malaysia; Bali & Australia and Ruqxana's classes are the best we have experienced. The whole session was a combination of hospitality; fun; learning; laughter and informative. ...and the food, amazing even if I do have to say so myself. Ruqxana was only to happy to share her wealth of knowledge and experience as well... More

My thanks to the lovely Ruqxana for a really enjoyable morning cooking Laksa and chicken Satay today and to my fellow guests Mark and Kim who made it so memorable. The experience was lovely, being welcomed into Ruqxana's home and cooking on the terrace with the cats for company! I have only two concerns as a Tripadvisor reviewer: The first... More

It's so easy to get sucked into all the excitement of shopping malls and miss out on an authentic experience when you visit Singapore so I strongly recommend you try rolling your sleeves up and get cooking with Ruqxana! In the heart of suburbia she opens her doors and into the world of fresh ingredients and spices to make even... More

Have already been 3 times to Ruqxana's Class at Cookery magic. And I'll certainly come back again. First of all you don't feel like you're hiring a class in some sort of cold school where you are just one more because Ruqxana receives her guests in her own beautiful suburban house and she gives a very personal and kind attention... I do not like to cook! I begin with this sentence because after my visit in Cookery magic I became a big fan of cooking. No other place in Singapore where cooking delivers so much pleasure, laughter and humor. I feel that Ruqxana knows all the recipes in the world and she is ready to share them anyone who wants... I was impatient to attend my second cooking class this year not only because of cooking but to meet Ruqxana again. What a magnetic person she is! My friend and I had a great time at Ruqxana`s artistic home cooking Haynanese chicken rice, laksa and gajar halwa. The dishes from last year class have become favorite for my family. Big fun... More

We spent the day at cookery magic learning & laughing, a fabulous experience & would highly recommend it. I am not a fan of spicy food & ruqxana & her team taught me exactly what to do to make the food sweet & delicious for my liking. Great day :-)

We, a small group of 7 members from different parts of the world, Australia, India, The Netherlands, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore, did cooking as Team Bonding with Ruxqana on 28 May 2014. We had such a wonderful time and truly enjoyed it. Cooking brings people together and gets people into action.

We thoroughly enjoyed Ruqxana's cooking class - arranged on my husbands 30th birthday. Even though the class were strangers at the beginning we were all getting along so well by the end of the class. It was a great cooking environment and we all loved tucking into our creations at the end. If only we were local we could have... More
