Ruqxana is a wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable host for this 3 hour adventure into the world if Asian cooking. My wife and I were joined by two others (see their review below) and cooked four dishes. This class is set in Ruqxanas home which is fairly easy to get especially if you use a taxi app such as GrabTaxi. We... More

My first time visiting Singapore and I did not want to visit the regular attractions as I have seen many of these in different countries. Instead, I like to do something local that gets me in touch with the people. When I suggested to my friend that I wanted to do a cooking course, she was very excited to join... More

I took a private class with Ruqxana to learn how to make a NY style baked cheesecake. It was clear from the get-go that Ruqxana knew exactly what she is doing. And although I do not have a lot of experience in the kitchen, she was able to provide me with clear and easy to follow instructions. She was also... More

We were looking for a cooking class that would teach us how to cook Chili crab. In addition we learned how to make Char kway teo and some dessert ball. as we could cook to whatever spice level we want, my boyfriend and I love really really spicy. Hands down we thought our chili crab and char kway teo beat... More

Never thought chicken rice came as a result of a tedious preparation and weird yet amazing process. The cooking class was hands on and i had a great time learning with my wife. We got to eat the food we made and it didnt dissappoint. Very wonderful teacher, charming home, and an awesome experience indeed.

Cookery Magic is my favourite attraction in Singapore. Would go there every day! This year my friend and I attended a daily class for making roti prata, dahl and fish curry! Ruqxana was brilliant as always! And a few days later she tought us how to make beef rendang - the queen of Malay cuisine and kueh dadar. I love... More

Ruqxana is amazing with flavours. Very professional yet relaxed and an 'at home' feel. We cooked what could be classed in western terms as plain and simple - Hainanese Chicken Rice with 3 sauces and Chicken Broth as a side. From start to finish it was a fabulous exploration of how to blend different spices. Not hot, yet can be... More

We love to take cooking classes when we travel. The knowledge is a lasting souvenir to take home. Ruqxana's classes are among the best we've done. We started with her noodles class and loved it so much we signed up for the laksa/satay class. Both were memorable sessions. Ruqxana has the kitchen in her lovely house well organised and her... What a lovely teacher Ruqxana is. We both really enjoyed this class and of course eating the food we prepared. A wonderful morning all round and met some lovely fellow travellers too.
