Ruqxana is amazing with flavours. Very professional yet relaxed and an 'at home' feel. We cooked what could be classed in western terms as plain and simple - Hainanese Chicken Rice with 3 sauces and Chicken Broth as a side. From start to finish it was a fabulous exploration of how to blend different spices. Not hot, yet can be... More

We love to take cooking classes when we travel. The knowledge is a lasting souvenir to take home. Ruqxana's classes are among the best we've done. We started with her noodles class and loved it so much we signed up for the laksa/satay class. Both were memorable sessions. Ruqxana has the kitchen in her lovely house well organised and her... What a lovely teacher Ruqxana is. We both really enjoyed this class and of course eating the food we prepared. A wonderful morning all round and met some lovely fellow travellers too.

I cannot say enough about Ruqxana’s cooking class. Her charm, enthusiasm, patience, love of food, cooking skills, advance preparation, and love of people, make her classes exceptional. If we had more time in Singapore we would have happily taken multiple classes. Four of us had booked the class together, and Ruqxana accommodated our busy schedule, fitting us in at a... More

Forget the souvenir stands! Take home several regional dishes from Singapore to share with friends and family over and over again. 'Roxanne' is entertainer, teacher, and cook extraordinaire! A highlight we'll come back to on return visits to Singapore.

Roqsana's coking course was terrific. Great teacher, good sense of humour, very low key and wow! We could cook! Well worth the s$100.

We did Ruqxana's cookery course and had so much fun! She was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and where they came from, And the dishes we made were delicious! This course was especially good as it was at her own home, not a stuffy kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Singapore whether you are a foodie or... More

If you are a foodie, this is a lovely way to not only learn to cook Singapore style, but also the fact that you are doing so in a private house rather than a purpose built catering school. There were 3 of us in the class and between us we made Hainanese Chicken Rice. Ruqxana is very friendly and knowledgeable... More

I really enjoyed my day with Ruqxana. She welcomed us so warmly into her home. A real hands-on experience and so many great tips on how to adjust quantities to suit individual tastes. It was so much fun and the food was so good I couldn't believe I'd cooked it! Ruqxana was very helpful and down to earth and so obviously... More
