One would expect great presentation in this premium Sentosa leisure resort. The butterfly area was pleasant with perhaps ten different species of live butterfly. The insect display were very poor, with most live specimens stuffed in jars. Not recommended. A large selection of preserved specimens - museum style was also uninspiring and then finally a gift shop selling insects preserved... More

The butterfly house is old and run down with the some of the boardwalk having holes in it. Not many butterflies on display the day we were there. The insect collection inside was in better condition, but the setup and lay out seemed a little tired also. I would think twice about paying the admission fee!

Went here with my teenage Son expecting to see lots of butterflies. We got inside the first room and to be honest I think we saw 4 different varieties of butterfly. It looked scruffy and dirty. The shed in here which had the pupae in looked a mess. The glass hadn't been cleaned regularly. We moved on into the next avairy and this one... More

Butterfly Garden is pathetic, was part of our 20 Attraction ticket. Quite disappointed, hardly you would find any variety of Butterfly. I would suggest a miss to this attraction and opt for the Butterfly Park at the Changi Airport. They are much better than the Sentosa attraction. ....and yes you may find a talking parakeet here if you are lucky.

This is the only place in Singapore where I got disappointed. Only few butterflies, some insect rearing, one tortoise and few birds. If you want bird to sit on you hand or shoulder you have to pay.

What is this!???? This place is a run-down and it looks very poor. You hardly see any butterflies and the insect kingdom is ridiculous! They charge a lot of money, but to be honest, you don't get anything in return! Please be warned!! I definitely want my money back! And I should have read reviews first to avoid not only... More

Last day in Singapore and my wife wanted to visit the Sentosa Butterfly Park. A short cab ride ride and we arrived. $16 each was the fee - sounds ok. A quick count would be around 15 butterfly's in total and pretty run down. They did have around 5 Toucan's but we came for the Butterfly's. Would not advise anyone... More

Please don't waste your precious time at the island by visiting this place. You hardly get to see any butterflies leave alone the varieties. Please avoid this; there are plenty of other things out there.

Old, depressing, dead butterfly's on the ground. Would not recommend this at all. Poorly maintained. Went to the aquarium - fantastic!!! Such a bad way to end the afternoon.

Admittedly there had been a thunderstorm in the night but they are not uncommon in Singapore, there were only about 1/2 a dozen butterfly's and some of them were in poor condition, the place was quite grubby with rubbish lying around, I thought the butterfly enclosure at Changi airport was better and that's free.....don't waste your money here
