The only reason this is still opened is purely to take money out of unsuspecting tourists who would assume this place would be of similar quality to other Singapore/Sentosa attractions. We saw less than 5 butterflies, a few half dead scorpions/spiders in some discoloured (Brown) glass bottles and were out in less than 15 minutes. The whole attraction deserves to... More

Probably had a total of 5 live butterflies in the entire attraction. Only redeeming points were the single toucan (don't understand why there's one here) and an exhibit of stick and leaf insects. Poor fluorescent lighting in the museum. Air conditioning along the walkway switched off. Attraction seems stuck in the 90s, and should have been better maintained. Lots of... More

The enclosure was rather tired and old. With little butterflies swarming around compared to my last visit 5 years ago. This time, there were fewer butterflies but there were other animals like parrots and iguanas. The attraction was supposed to be about the butterflies, so we expected more. I miss the feeling of being swarmed by these friendly butterflies. What... More

I love butterfly gardens and really wanted to like this attraction. I had read the mixed and often poor reviews, but decided it was worth a try since it was convenient. I have to say that despite my best efforts, the park was very disappointing. Unkempt, badly in need of updating and new exhibit styles, very few butterflies. On the... More

Did not like it as much as the last time as there were hardly any butterflies. Price is reasonable but I am not sure everyone will like it. Did have a nice store and also other reptiles and insects

This is one review I was waiting to write. Very very and extremely disappointing. We had seen some morphed photos of butterflies all over the people and we were excited about it. Until we landed inside, we could barely see 2 butterflies. We were completely heart broken and disappointed. We felt short changed, cheated. Friends, if you are really want... More

The butterfly display and insect gallery on Sentosa Island is over-rated. The gardens and buildings look tired and dilapidated. There were very few butterflies visible. I enjoyed meeting the parrots and the giant lizard, but the rest of the display is not up to the high standards expected of Sentosa Island or Singapore in general. Avoid this attraction until it... The Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom appears to be in need of urgent maintenance and modernisation and definitely did not live up to the admission charge. On my disappointing visit there were a small selection of butterflies in the first aviary, and in the second were several parrots, a few other birds and two monitor lizards. These parrots were sitting... More

Poorly maintained and generally quite depressing. Yes there were some butterflies around but the "pupa house" was like a death trap for all the newly emerged butterflies. A lot of the insects were kept in glass tanks with no labels to identify or give proper information on the insects, and most of the time I wasn't even sure the creatures... More
