This was probably one of the real features of Santosa Island when it first opened. A lot of the exhibits are a bit sad and need some TLC however seeing the different butterflies up close is worth it. Make sure you go on an overcast day and they will be all around you, on a sunny day they hide in... More

The collection of butterflies and insect on display is quite ok. However the park itself is a bit rundown and looks poorly maintained.

The "bug" side was extremely limited - I have more insects in my back garden (although luckily not the tarantulas :). The other section containing the butterflies was also small and, frankly, we did not see a profusion of butterflies as expected. Big Parrots are a many attractions so nothing new. Far too expensive considering the tired offerings.

My Nephews enjoyed they're time on Butterfly park. We went there morning , and we so saw some of the guide is holding a newly born butterfly and they let the butterfly crawl on to my nephews ear/hand/shirt but we cannot touch there wings for they say it is very important not to touch the wings. They have encountered some... More

I think I only saw about 5 butterfly's. They have some big parrots you can get a photo with and a fair amount of bugs (stick insects etc) but this attraction is quite tired and needs updating. I'd pass it at this stage.

The butterfly and the insect park are a waste of time and money. There is nothing much and the place looks very drab and run down specially the insect park. The insect park had some interesting bugs. The butterfly park had a few pretty flying butterflies...overall its a disappointing place.........

We brought our family to the Butterfly Park today but it was closed due to the heavy rain. We were told we could still visit the Insect Kingdom but it was such an appalling place! The live insects were housed in pathetic glass jars. We saw several stick insects, praying mantis, rhinocerous beetles and a couple of tarantulas. Hardly worthy... More

We went late on a rainy day and the kids (7, 9, 11 yrs old) enjoyed seeing the butterflies flying around, the toucans and some turtles but it wasn't really worth paying to see. The live stick insects were interesting and the insect museum had some interesting bugs but, overall a bit disappointing. There are other things on Sentosa that... More

The place was shabby and looked dead. Needs major refurbishment. Not many butterflies flying around/at feeding stations. The major shock for me was when an attendant sprayed insecticide to a nearby tree and some butterfly got sprayed. He said it was to kill the ants, however wouldn't it kill the butterfly too? The highlight was when a mating butterfly landed... More

Agree with recent reviewers. I didn't see more than 6 varieties of butterfly. It needed more feeding stations. I saw only one and a parrot kept landing on it disturbing the feeders. The insect display was awful, like something out of a Victorian museum. The whole exhibit needs major refurbishment. The inevitable gift shop was disproportionately large.
