Sentosa Island is in some ways tourist development gone mad. With Universal Studios and the flash hotels and the wonderful SEA Aquarium as well as the more activity based attractions this somewhat under maintained exhibition of, well, butterflies, moths and other insects of the world looks a little out of place. There is nothing wrong with the idea, those who... More

Oh dear.... This sad display is not worth any of the $16 entry. It is way past it's use-by date and I would imagine due for replacement. Do not disappoint yourself by going.

You do have to time this one right - we did, and there were heaps of butterflies either hatching or flying around. A magical experience for the children.

I know it's getting run down with a lot less species than in years gone by but I feel that the more people it gets through the gate the more money will be available to restore this once wonderful attraction. With all the new bells and whistles attractions on Sentosa drawing the crowds away it's little wonder that this attraction... More

Entry into the butterflies delivers many species but not much more than at Changi Airport Butterfly House. Into the next cage are the birds and iguana where you can capture a good photo up close but again only a few examples. The insect pavilion/museum has hundreds of examples and is where this venue excels so a visit depends on what... More

On the desk is a sign indicating they will only take cash. When we queried this the old woman behind the counter said the credit card machine wasn't working. Oh dear, we said, we only have a credit card, not enough cash. Oh, she says we give it a try, sometimes it works. Hey presto, it worked (unfortunately). On entering... More

Pathetic exhibits.. Very few butterflies and insects. Very poorly maintained. I've been to other really nice butterfly exhibits in US. This was such a let down and I felt totally ripped off for the money spent. Spend your $16 more wisely at the Skyline Luge.

We are not usually Theme Park people, but we went there as my husband wanted to visit the Siliso Fort. On the whole, we were very impressed with the organisation of the theme park island with its mono rail. I had particularly wanted to see the Butterfly and Insect Park, but I have to say, I was rather disappointed. The... More

The way animals are being kept in this Cage/Park is absolutly intolerable. Watching the birds screaming in anger and trying to escape from their tiny prison while one guy wants to push you in a photo with a lame Toucan to sell it to you afterwards is just poor. Two rabbits are being held in a box of 1 m... More
