Amazing island where you can float-all-you-can! (Oslob's sea water has high salt content) Mother nature's wonderful creation!

**highly recommend esp. for lazy people :) It's worth even you have to pay 2,000 peso (if you come on weekends, weekdays is 1,500 peso). If you can spend this money, you'd better come with the Blue Water service. - We started with swimming in their small pool which was enough for us. - Then went kayakking in the lagoon... More

The beach itself is littered with sharp stones and shells that it makes it very hard to walk barefoot. There is really nothing to do, its small and barren. The boat trip there was a little more interesting, especially getting off and on the boat. The washroom above the beach was clean, no toilet paper and it costs 20p.

Crystal clear water the sand bar is really awesome. Chartered a boat for 1,500 we got to stay for an hour in the sand bar and an hour snorkeling in the sanctuary area. The only thing missing was the underwater camera. Next time should bring along one. All in all the experience was nice and memorable. Definitely going back there... More

Going to this majestic place! if your from the city of cebu you need to go to south bus terminal and ride a ceres bus liner (aircon) for more convenience since its a long trip about 4 hrs away from the city.... Right so we chartered our own fishing boat from oslob for 1100 including towels. The ride was very scenic and took 45 minutes each way. Upon arrival at the sandbar (as 1500 per person was out of our budget due to the backpacking nature of our trip) we were met by a couple guys with a ticket book asking 50... More

I've so much to share about this island. I couldn't even sum up all the words to describe how beautiful this island is. It's very peaceful and relaxing. There are many activities to do here. And most of all, it is somewhat less exploited. Read more about the island through my blog: http://pen-and-broomstick.blogspot.com/2015/05/sumilon-island-my-little-paradise.html

If you are up to a wholesome private stay in Cebu, this resort is one of the best resorts to stay in southern Cebu.
