Less invaded

Buruanga beach is somehow less invaded, hence quite and clean. You may mingle with locals here and enjoy local foods.

Buruanga, the Aklan town next to Malay, where Boracay sits, is a gem just waiting to be cut and polished! It's stunning sunsets and whitesanded/rocky beaches is a complement to the great sun-sand experience anyone can have in Boracay. As a 30 minute ride from Caticlan, Buruanga is a must-see.

It is a quiet beach ,I saw more natives than travelers here.I guess it is good for people who want to take some serious shooting, or have a walk with your new dating...

It is less taken care for the beach as on other side of the island where the white beach is. water is quite dirty, and there are half of the bungalows, resorts destroyed and nothing cleaned. So if you do not kite or want to learn kiting there is not much to do.

Our friends who went here last month suggested us to visit a place here called Hacienda Maria. What a perfect place to unwind after enduring the many crowds and busy nights in Boracay. The perfect activity to get acquainted with nature and meet local people in the village. Our guide led us to visit Sapsapon caves where we saw beautiful... More

after witnessing the hustle bustle of the white beach in Boracay this is a very peaceful beach which relaxes a person completely. The reef is very nice and the water is clean, it is good for snorkelling and diving.

A hidden gem of aklan. White sand, blue waters, not tourist infused, with in-house reef !!! minimal to no mobile signal as well that might be a bit of a let down for some. We stayed in "why not" resort with accommodating staff and a friendly dog named "Arthur" . Worth every penny! You can also have homecooked filipino meals... More

If you want to experience swimming with school of jacks then you must try diving in Buruanga Beach! Reef is also very nice but prepare for deep diving. :-)
