It's a unique experience to be able to ride a boat into the underground river. It's very dark but we were given a flashlight and the guide gave instructions on where to shine the flashlight so he could point out the different formations in the cave. It was awesome! Just like the title of the review. Would not go out of your way to take in this tourist trap. We made the trip down from El Nido to Sabang Beach, time wouldve been better spent in El Nido. Especially considering the 6hr van ride. If you need to get out and see this 'New 7 wonder of the world'!?!... More

We went through our hotel so from the pier to the underground river we had the boat to ourselves, which was very comfortable, we hired the audio guide but found it was not necessary do to the excellent commentary from the boat rower.

I loved the experience, but I didn't expect so many bats! It was alarming how many there were.
