Choose iwahig, the other one which is just across baywalk and just take a 15 to 20 minutes ride on boat is not worth it, you cant get off the both, just sitting there and wait for the minimal firefly to appear among the mangroves. Travel agent wont try to explain which of the two you wanted to visit. The... More

Despite having to wait a while for our number to be called, the tour was definitely worth it. Our guide, JR, was very knowledgable and shared a lot of information about the river, fireflies and a lot of other things.

Stars, fireflies, and luminescence. It was a beautiful light show. The fireflies adorned the trees, the stars adorned the skies, and the luminescence adorned the waters. If you like nature, you will like this.

My first time to see fireflies lighting up a tree like a Christmas tree. It was a learning experience too if you listen to the guide who explains the nature of fireflies and the mangrove forest they live in. You get to enjoy dinner in a floating restaurant.

This is a nice experience for first time firefly watchers. I had already seen a tree full of fireflies in Davo some years back, like it was a giant christmas tree, so I was a little disappointed that there were less fireflies there. However, the boat ride and the trivia told by our boatman and tour guide added more value... More

We were taken to the beautiful harbour in Puerto Princesa, where we departed on a medium sized banca boat, and transfered to another banca where we had dinner (included) (good seafood) - then moved on with the first banca, until we finally got on a smaller boat and continued on a very quiet trip to view the numerous fireflies, even... The tour fell short of my expectation. Based on a friend's recount of her experience, I was expecting to see several trees covered with fireflies. Unfortunately, they were not as many as I imagined them to be. However, my companion who has not seen a firefly her entire life, thoroughly enjoyed the tour and was thrilled to see the fireflies.... Lucky for us, it was a still and placid early evening, we were able to see hundreds of fireflies! So romantic under starry night..
