Got to see the Christmas tree at night, very impressive. Very festive, even ate at one of the seafood vendors without a problem.
We took a midday walk down the Baywalk on a drizzly day. Not sure if nothing much was happening due to inclement weather, time of day or what, but we were a little underwhelmed. Nice for a stroll, but not sure what else one could do in the area as nothing was open and the entire area seemed deserted. Either... More
average place during the day. Night time is when it comes to life with multiple food traders and vendors cooking and serving food.
We went here to try the food at Kina Boyet. I think this Kina Boyet is the cheaper version of Kinabuchs. ;-) Along the baywalk lies several food stalls aside from Kina Boyet. There was also a carnival and a huge Christmas tree along the bay. There were bikes for kids and adults for rent. We rented a pedicab for... More
Lots of choices to go through here! Fried barbeque and soups are available all around! Seefood are a bit OP though a piece of squid is about 200php.
Do not visit the place during lunch time. No shade and the shops are still closed. Night time is fun and relaxing coz lights are bright in different colors and a lot of shops to buy any kind of goods.
Baywalk is all the day very quite place, but in the evening and especially in the night is there a lot of people, music, very good street food for little money. We were there before Xmas and huge Xmas tree stood in the middle of this place. It is very good place for night life and have a fun with... More
In the city tour, we found out about the history of the place. Very informative. It seems like nothing special in the morning when it's deserted but the baywalk comes alive at night! A park with a lot of food stalls to try out the country's street food. Definitely a place to hang out with friends.
It's best to visit this area at night, where it comes alive. People of Puerto Princesa comes here at night to bike, eat, or just have a good night out. It's fantastic. There are bike rentals available; an array of food kiosks, and few shopping stalls.
