Nice visit

Nice visit with the WWII Plaza Cuartel being across the street. The cathedral is beautiful and worth the visit for a city tour trip.

We did the city tour to kill some time, and to be honest this church was fairly dreadful. It looks like something from a doll's house and you get hampered by guys trying to sell knock off jewellery.

The Cathedral was pretty dissapointing to me. I was expecting a big Cathedral with ornaments, but it's actually a common Church when you compare it to the ones you can find in South America.

A very large Roman Catholic cathedral that easily seats more than 1000 worshippers, and actually during each service on Sundays people are standing outside the church for the service because there aren't enough seats.

It's certainly not St. Peter's or Notre Dame, but it is a nice local church and worth a short visit if you're close by. It is well maintained inside and out and provided a nice respite to sit and reflect.

It's a nice well maintained church. The exteriors has a nice baby blue hue. Personally, I didn't think it was anything special because it's not exactly monumental typical of a cathedral. It's also next to a basketball court which lowers the tone.

The church was good, not grandious like the others. One thing that I liked about it is that it is situated around houses but it is surprisingly peaceful. Just across the church is the plaza cuartel where you can do a bit of time travelling. Walls, facade, tunnels dating back to war age are still present (they register very well... More

We sort of found this by default... Then a cafe owner suggested we ride up the hill and see this beautiful cathedral... And yes.. It is worth a quick look or visit during a mass service spoken in the local language. It is painted a very happy pacific blue inside and out with unique painting and architectural features. It is... It is located near the school and beside Plaza Cuartel. The cathedral is very simple yet very elegant with its architecture. Recommended place to visit
