It's an airy, beautiful cathedral where the faithful go to attend mass and strengthen their faith. It's well-maintained and the grounds are well-kept.

My (now) wife and I first traveled to Palawan in May of 2014. We were looking for wedding destinations, and found this Cathedral on our visit to Palawan. We really loved all the activities and travel options available for our guests on Palawan, and when we visited the Cathedral, we loved it! Since my wife and I were both raised... More

Walked in, walked out, posed in front. I've been to many churches, temples, cathedrals across the Philippines and other countries. This was nice, it was good to stop and stretch legs as this was part of a city tour, but there wasn't that much to see. No gift shop. Expect the locals to ask you to buy souvenirs as you... More

The history of the cathedral is what makes it beautiful; the exterior of the building itself is nothing impressive, but the interior is lovely. There were very few people in the church when we went there, so it was quiet and peaceful and a lovely place for praying.

If you're Catholic then you really should take time to visit the Cathedral. Plaza Cuartel is just across the cathedral. If history is of interest to you, then you should drop by. However, it's just a small park.

This is a lovely building. I'm not really into architecture but even I am always struck by the beauty and tranquillity of the building, a place of calm and peace in a busy city. Its open every day so dodge the sunday crowds and visit any time you have a few minutes

I found the Cathedral to be really small for a Cathedral. The inside of the Cathedral was really beautiful, especially with the yellow-brownish lights used. The exterior didn't really reflect the age of the architecture at the time of the Cathedral's building so I wasn't able to appreciate it that much.

It was authentic and beautiful church and historic place as well. I prayed there asking for more blessings to come. The design was beautiful.
