The blue Cathedral is located near the town center. It is located in the hilly part of Puerto and thus can be seen from the distance. Several women were praying the rosary when we visited the church. This is a religious site so practice decorum appropriate for a religious site. Located across the Cathedral is the historical Cuartel Plaza. American... More

The Filipinos are predominantly Catholics and the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Puerto Princesa is a testament to our faith. Today this Cathedral is just one of the many other tourist attractions in the city. It is located along Rizal Avenue across Plaza Cuartel. A historic site in the city, it used to be a small church when the Spaniards ruled... More

The cathedral has a very beautiful image of Our Lady of the Immaculate Concepcion. Masses are held in both English and Filipino languages. More

I enjoyed taking some pics of the beautiful cathedral. I would have enjoyed touring inside too but I was not appropriately dressed. If you want to see the inside, shorts and flip flops are not appropriate. Recommend you bring shoes and pants to get the full view. It's one of the nicest buildings on Palawan, but it is not on... Even you are not a church goer but if you are visiting Puerto Princesa City, try a glimpse of this church. The church is modern and looks beautiful and if you are inside you will feel the solemnity. The tourguide will allow you to stay for a while, to pray and take pictures as souvenir. More

I would always make it a point to visit an old church in any province I go to. Not just because of religion but also to see the architecture. Surely this one is a work of art! More
