We were told Tamaraw Waterfalls were lovely but they weren't in our opinion. We found out when there, that the best time to visit is between 10:00 and 12:00, which is the only time that the sun is on the water. They are not natural (anymore) but have been built up as a concrete swimming pool and picnic area, so... More

We hired a tricycle to get to this site and when we got off- lo and behold, a majestic waterfall on your right and flows down to a cliff on your left. The cliff is not so dangerous because the government converted a part of it to be a natural pool. The edges are constructed but the floor is soil/sand... More

Departed Puerto Galera at 8am on a motorcycle headed to Calapan City Port to get a Roll on Roll Off to Batangas. Twenty five meters from the falls one of 2 men with their motorcycle parked along the guard rails attempted a hold up using a speargun (pana). They backed off when a van appeared behind us. We immediately reported... More

the place is small and dodgy, although lovely located. a swimmingpool for the kids and a little hike. a few shops and that is it. but... the little restaurant (a fewstairs down), on first hand looking somewhat off, hides a little treasure: Alvin! home cooking food that is really good! and the owner Alvin, a warm-hearted guy, with a nice... The falls are nice, and worth some pictures. It's easy to get there via tricycle or jeep, as the falls are right on the highway. A private tricycle ride will cost you around 1000 php. It's cheap if you rent your own motorcycle. The entrance fee to the pools area is 30 php per person. You are not allowed to... More

Probably the easiest falls to get to in Puerto, seems others require a lot of hiking. This one is right off the road, only about a half hour from White Beach. There is a small swimming area with cool water and some great shots with my Go Pro but you have to do a little climbing over some rocks to... More

As there isn't much else to do above the water, we took a boat and tricycle all the way over there. A few photos and I was ready to leave. The most interesting thing I saw was a chicken flew down the cliff and landed on top of the aluminium roof above us! The falls are pretty, but I was... More
