The waterfall is very pretty but also a good distance away from White beach or the main pier. We went in the afternoon and it took us an hour by motorbike. The falls is small but a wonderful view. We were told it's better to go in the morning so you can see the wild monkeys playing at the top.... More

Leaving Puerto Galera the rad winds around the island and passes by Tamaraw waterfalls. They are a decent size and would make great photo opportunity if not for the highway which goes across the base of the falls.

All there is to see you ca see from the road. Do not bother to buy a ticket and go down to the 'swimming pool' it is not worth it. Make sure you go in the early morning when the sun is not above the waterfall otherwise it will be hard to make pictures. The 'I love Puerto Galera'- sign... More

Its a nice trip to go to Tamaraw Falls. Pay 500 pesos for returntrip with tricycle from Puerto, then some Pesos entrance etc. Don't get your hopes up to much with this natural site.

The ride out to Tamaraw Waterfalls is beautiful and I would recommend renting a motorbike to do this trip instead of hiring a jeepney. It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach the falls from Sabang, probably 15 minutes from Puerto Gallera town. Once you get to the falls you will have an opportunity to take pictures of the falls for... It was tranquil and nice but the trip to the waterfall offered better views than the waterfall itself. Several places while travelling to the falls from Puerto Galera deserves a stop. It is a fun area to swim in. We didn't swim but the kids around definately enjoyed playing in the water. It is quite mediocre otherwise.

Glad we purchased a package that includes this tourist spot. I was stunned with the beauty and cleanliness of the area. They have shops nearby in case you want to take a bath but don't have extra clothes to wear. Picnic area is available which is better. Bathrooms are not that spacious but it is clean. Clear and fresh water!... More

A tour to the nearby places to view on a rainy is worth the money. This include a visit to Tamaraw falls, virgin beach, and a visit to a traditional Mangyan village. Great and educative for 5 years and up. Enjoy!...
