On our second visit to Puerto Galera (last was 5 years ago), we opted to go the not-so-travelled route. We visited from Aug.23-25 to maximize the long weekend/holiday but also prepared ourselves that Puerto Galera may be filled with tourists with the same intent. The plan was to visit the place and stay in a different locale to avoid the... More

Unlike White Beach with sandy shore, Talipanan Beach have stones and sea urchins and crawling baby crabs. Hahaha.. Not so crowded, no fire dancers though.

Was nice and quite, a bit more exposed to the wind than some of the other beaches around Puerto Galera. Had a great Pizza from Lucas on the far Right hand corner. Awesome range of interestingly coloured rocks on the shore. And some cool abandoned buildings

Tropical doll I was staying at white beach resort and decided to take a walk all the way to Talipanan beach. It took me almost 40mins of walking but i didnt notice it was that long because i was amazed by the beautiful scenery. I checked out Amami beach resort. They only opened 2months ago. I had my lunch there,... More

If you need some quiet time away from the usual Puerto Galera crowd, Talipanan would be the perfect choice. There are fewer resorts to choose from, but the beach is as great and clear. It's really just a peaceful and quaint version of White Beach. The restaurants close early so the place is really quiet at night. In case you'd... More

I love the serenity of the beach. It's not crowded. The waters are clear. I hope it stays that way. Will definitely go back.

If you want to get away from the crowds this is the beach for you. Restaurants and bars are great and it's much nicer that White Beach in my opinion.

Much less hastle than White Eat Beach and no ladyboys miming in the evening! Eat at Lucas Italian restaurant and stay at La Luna.

Great beach that is off the main path for most visitors. Very quite and enjoyable... No venders, clean and accessible if you know are on motorbike or by jeepney. Take food and drinks with you as not always available. Beach is very nice, cottages can be rented or just enjoy without the hassle if crowds.
