Much calmer and less busy than sabang and white beach. Better for families or for those who want to relax.

like: it's a quiet place to be in when you need solace and solitude dislike: far from the maddening and fun crowd of White Beach

If peace and quiet is your thing or if you're traveling with your family (with kids), you're better off staying at the Talipanan beach side of Puerto Galera. Its 30 minutes away from White Beach and Mt. Malasimbo (if you're there for the Malasimbo Festival.) There are a good number of resorts to choose from if you feel adventurous to... More

Talipanan is excellent for a family vacation. It's quiet and the beach isn't as rocky as the other parts of Puerto Galera. The entire stretch is quiet and has some excellent resorts to choose from. You can also walk to White Beach from Talipanan for some adventure.

Small, secluded, relatively low count of visitors! I literally have the beach for myself at certain hours of the day, and night! Very good retreat for peacefulness and away from the bustling busy life back in the city.

We stayed at the Puerto Galera Beach Club and it was right on this beach. Beautiful beach with white sand, clear water, palm trees. The only disappointing thing is that the resorts are right on the beach so close to the water that there isn't as much beach as you'd like but still you can just walk down the coast... More

good beach, nice and quiet with a varied selection of restaurants. Not advisable to go directly to Talipanan because their is no pier -- hard to disembark with luggage. Amami resort owners were very accommodating and friendly.

Of the beaches in Puerto, this is the best. Actually, the best is a between Talipanan and White beach. If you go to Talipanan and walk back towards White Beach, you come to a stretch of empty picture-book beach with fine white sand and palm trees. It is one of the prettiest spots you will find. Talipanan itself is very... More

Quiet beach, completely different from the craziness of White beach (which is quite close). White sand, warm water. Good for snorkeling.
