I thought the carabao cart ride to this place was just the highlight of the tour but I was wrong. The falls had several layers that one can go to and explore. The higher you go, the more secluded and private it gets.

If it's your first time in Puerto Galera make sure you leave a day open to visit the falls. Get a group of people (to keep the travel cost down) buy some food for a BBQ lunch and enjoy the day relaxing and swimming in the natural pool. To add a little more fun feel free to rent the water... More

This is one of the highlights of our trip to Mindoro outside diving activities. It is also very affordable. Carabao ride for Php400 back and forth from the car's parking to the falls is simply a steal - make sure to give a generous tip to the guide and to the carabao! :) The place is so serene and at... It is really worth a visit. Rivers, lakes and hiking are great activities if you get tired of the ocean. Riding the carabao is quaint and charming. However, i strongly advise travelers to respect nature by cleaning after yourself, respect local customs and culture and please respect the locals. Sexual acts are not permitted here!!! It's not that kind of... More

This is worth the walk. Although local community provides a cart drawn by a carabao, but one can also walk and enjoy the water. It's about 30 minutes from the parking area. Dip into the water to appreciate the place. Bring your own food too since this is an interior part of San Teodoro (the town). Comfort rooms are not... More

A nice 30-minute walk in the tropical forest, followed by a refreshing swim in a natural pool (being able to do in in November, wearing only your bathing suit, is priceless :D ) and a very easy and relaxing kayaking session... what else could you possibly want?

It is a very long ride up there. It took us a a couple hours with a trip to the Tamaraw Falls. Well worth the ride. The Carabao ride is worth it at least once. You could walk it faster if you like walking and the ride is bumpy however a nice experience sitting back enjoying the views. Water up... More
