One would think once you've seen the rice terraces, they are all the same. Not the case in Banaue. These are everywhere and photos cannot capture the views surrounding you.
I was fortunate to have gone to Banaue to see the Rice Terraces. I saw it from the view points as well as the Batad Rice Terraces. I would recommend the view point for those just apssing through Banaue or for those who don't want to actually walk through the rice paddies.

3 days trekking in what they call the death in banaue rice terraces is my best best experience trekking from pula village to the friendliest people of cambulo down to the best viewpoint of batad to the refreshing waterfalls of tappia down to bangaan. wow its like i've seen all of banaue.
